This is a very quaint area, quiet during the week. There is a huge variety of shopping, and is a good place to stock up on things before you continue to explore the Outer Hebrides.

Lovely reflections off the fishing boats at high tide. Ferry links, generally pleasant place to be. Always good to look at on the way back home form the HebCelt Festival.

Stornoway is a busy little harbour with fishing boats, pleasure craft and the CalMac ferry. Worth visiting to see the group of seals swimming around the fish market. They will come up close to you and will even take fish scraps from your hand.

just one restaurant next to the harbour, always full, table booking essential, they do not serve food all day (in all of Stornoway be prepared you won't get anything to eat between app. 2:30-5), not much to see...
