“Fabulous tranquil beach with views to die for”
Review of Langamull Beach

Love these beaches that are quite difficult to get to, with no amenities just ll on in your smiling face nature, peace and calm.

Stunning views looking towards Coll and Tiree and the back drop of mountains is beautiful. The beach is backed by dunes mostly set to wild grasses and flowers, whilst the beaches themselves are paper white with coral and sea shells.

Marvellous rock pools to explore, just mind the grazing sheep and cattle who also occupy the beach.

The path is relatively easy to follow and walk at about 2 miles each way so don't go over burdened.

This is an absolutely gorgeous beach, well worth the short hike there. Unfortunately you do need to walk through an area which has been logged, and it is a pretty apocalyptic scene. However, bear with it because the beach is worth it! When you get to the gates at Langamull farm take the right hand one through the grazing sheep. You will see the beach in front of you. Beautiful white sand, rock pools, shells of every description. Amazing! You can return via a different track which takes you past a ruined settlement, but I wouldn’t bother - it just means that you have to walk further through the logged area!

My husband and I hiked to Langamull on our recent trip. It is beautiful and a nice walk. Check out walking highlands website for details.

A good walk rewarded by an amazing beach. Quiet and unspoit. Amazing views and interesting abandoned buildings on way back.

Super sandy quiet beach. Away from the crowds and very peaceful , if you can find it. Lovely place to go for a pic nic.
