Spent a week on Mull and Erray cottage was our base. Perfect little cottage, very comfortable with a lovely open fire. Bonus! Great location if you like it quiet and out the way. Loved the seating area in the back garden; we had great weather and used this a lot! Very friendly communication with the lovely hosts, cottage had everything we needed and more. Only one parking area but that was not a problem for us. Will definitely be back!
Perfect peaceful location with cows, sheep and horses for neighbours. Very clean, well equipped cottage, and the washing machine came in handy which meant we did not go home with a suitcase full of dirty laundry. Cosy with real coal fire. Lovely garden with patio area and drying green. Only half a mile or so from the main hub of Tobermory. Up a few steep hills and so may not suit anyone with disabilities. I loved the cottage and would stay here again in a minute. Unfortunately we are now back home to the busy stressful Glasgow envirnonment. Can't wait to escape again soon. Thank you so much to the owners.
Erray Cottage is in a very peaceful location in the countryside above Tobermory. Deer were frequently seen in the field near the cottage. Inside it is cosy and has all you need for self catering. There are lots of beautiful coastal walks at the North end of Mull and a trip via the small car ferry to Ardnamurchan to visit the lighthouse is a worthwhile excursion. There appear to be plenty of places to eat in Tobermory. We found the Fish and Chip Les Routiers caravan on the quay in Tobermory served delicious freshly cooked to order different varieties of fish with chips.
We enjoyed a very peaceful holiday at Erray Cottage. At last a property that is dog free!
