The menu at the Lodge was quite short which meant limited choice for the two children in our party, but they gamely tackled roast beef and salmon dishes respectively. The food was delicious and really nicely presented, and the chef was only too willing to provide ice cream for the children for dessert. The venue itself is unusual, but it really works. We certainly enjoyed ourselves!

Have been dying to try Hebridean Lodge since it opened, and was not disappointed.
Absolutely delicious chicken, haggis and whisky sauce roll, and the accompaniments were brilliant too. All the little touches like herbs in the salad make all the difference.
Great choices on the kids menu too, not the usual pizza/chips/fish fingers nonsense.
The knickerbocker glory for pudding was superb. The local ice creams, with toffee sauce, whipped cream, strawberry purée, fresh strawberries and raspberries was just a perfect finish to the meal.
We will be back again! And again... And again...
Thank you!

As regular visitors to Tobermory we like to try out new restaurants and were not disappointed with the Hebridean Lodge, it was so good we went twice for our lunch during our week's stay. The food was cooked to order using fresh locally sourced ingredients and was superb, full of flavour and totally satisfying. We found the portions very generous for a lunchtime and kept us going for the rest of the day (see photo's). We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely restaurant on the outskirts of town, if you can't be bothered to walk, hop in a taxi, it's worth every penny....
We wish Helen every success & look forward to a return visit, meanwhile dreaming of Scallop, Bacon & Stornaway Black Pudding Sandwich & drooling thinking of desserts :)

This new restaurant is a must for anyone staying in Tobermory. The food is very good, much of it locally sourced and it is excellently cooked. I have lived on the Isle of Mull for 4 years, and this is some of the best cooking and nicest service that I have found on the island. The menu is wide-ranging with a good range of daily specials. For me, the chowder is particularly brilliant, but for non-seafood people I am assured that the sausage and black pudding roll was also very good. Although this restaurant has only been open a short while we have been several times, for Sunday brunch (yum - we could hardly move afterwards), coffee and cake (delicious and lots of it) and for lunch (all of it was good). The last time we visited it was a hot day, and we didn't want to leave the dog in the car. We were offered the choice of a seat outside on the balcony or on picnic benches on a grassy area adjacent to the car park. Nothing was too much trouble - we even had water provided for the dog. The restaurant is slightly out of town on the main road that goes from Craignure and Salen to Tobermory, but don't let that put you off from visiting. It is a nice relaxing place to sit and eat, has good views from the balcony and is in a small complex of shops which has its own parking. Shops include Island Blue (a good gift shop), KFT Signs (a local printer who sells local art) and The Tobermory Fish Company (also worth a visit for locally-caught seafood). Give The Hebridean Lodge a try - you won't be disappointed.

The Hebridean Lodge has only been open for a short while for dinner.... Well, keep going guys! I think your business will go from strength to strength. No other restaurant in the area even comes close in terms of quality! The food tasted amazing, the lamb and the beef dishes were to die for! The presentation was superb! The waitress was very friendly and incredibly efficient! The chef's passion comes through loud and clear in all the food. My husband felt it was the best meal he had ever tasted! Well done! We'll be back on our next visit to Mull... Thank you very much!

(P.S. Only slight worry was how easy it would be to drop something off the table, off the balcony onto the lower floor!! But I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to sort this! Oh and you NEED a website to advertise your exceptional fare and service!)
