“Feel at home in Dunvegan, on Skye Island”

The house is very well located in the village of Dunvegan, which is a good place to explore Skye Island. Dunvegan castle is only 1 or 2 miles down the road, from which you will be able to observe seals.
The house is extremely well equipped. Customers benefit from the very warm welcome from Barbara, which includes a basket full of local products, home made bread, etc.
In conclusion, certainly the best accomodation in Dunvegan, which is a very good point in case of rain (that may happen...).

We were traveling in 6 , 2 adults and 4 teenagers, and we stay in Castle Crescent 3 nights.
We loved this home at the first sight: the home is very well cared , with all the basics, and the view is to die for. Barbara, the owner, takes proudly care of her guests, welcoming on your arrival and a basket filled with local products as chocolate, bread, eggs, wine and more was an unexpected gift for us. Also the location close to Dunvegan Castle makes this accommodation very convenient. Dunvegan offers also a lovely bakery, and a good restaurant, The old school. We had a terrific vacation, very sorry to leave.

I stayed at No. 5 Castle Crescent with my two adult children for 3 nights. As soon as we entered the home we were regretting that we hadn't made a longer reservation We were greeted by Barbara and her daughter when we arrived and they showed us around the house. We were thrilled with the lovely basket of fresh food they left for us, including a wonderful loaf of home baked bread and Scottish treats. The house was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained and the beds were divine! The views from the house are way better than the pictures. We will be contacting Barbara again in the future, because my children and I agreed that whenever we can, we will meet again in the Isle of Skye and stay at No. 5 Castle Crescent.

“Lovely Spot to Stay on Skye”

The hostess was very friendly and helpful accommodating our out of hours arival. We arrived to find a very welcoming basket of food and local produce. The house is very comfortable and has everything one might need.

The view from the kitchen area is lovely and the local village is very nice. We enjoyed such local entertainment as Dunvegan Castle, the coral beaches, the great playpark, and the Old Schoolhouse for a gourmet meal.

This is a good central location for tripping around Skye. I would certainly stay here again if visiting the Skye area.
