The location is wonderful overlooking the Sound of Sleat and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable with quality furnishings and bed linen. Christine was really helpful with tips on good restaurants and we managed to visit 6 out of the 10 recommended "where to get a good cup of coffee" cafes in Skye. I would highly recommend this as a base to explore and enjoy the south of the Isle.

Beautiful house with unbelievable views in a lovely quiet location. Christine and Ian could not have been more helpful with advice and knowledge given in order to make our short stay on Skye so enjoyable. On top of this a superb breakfast with all tastes catered for and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed for 3 nights in Napier Cottage in May, and had a fantastic stay. Lovely location nestled in the hills overlooking the bay with a snuggly garden room with 270 degree views of the water. Rooms are generous, stylish and much more than you expect from a BnB - this place would not be out of place among boutique hotels in Edinburgh. Great breakfasts, best fruit salad! A very Warm welcome from our lovely hosts Christine and Ian, who have maps and info galore - including a map of the best cafés on Skye. Stunning island and very lucky to have found Napier- we will definitely return next time we visit Skye.

Thank you Christine and Ian for a wonderful stay! We've stayed in B&Bs all over the world, and we have to say that this is the best one we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Our hosts thought of everything - and I mean everything - to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. Our en suite room was immaculate and so well appointed - with a beautiful view of the sound and mountains (to include the double rainbow that appeared one afternoon)! Christine loaned us maps to find our way around and recommended wonderful drives and restaurants in the local area. Breakfast was fabulous, with no detail spared (homemade jams!!!). Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer - it was so comfortable that it felt like home. If we ever find our way to Scotland again, we will definitely stay at Napier Cottage again!

We spent two wonderful nights at Napier in May 2014, why was it so good? Was it the warm and friendly welcome, the relaxed chat over a cup of tea in the conservatory, the high standard of finish to a spacious and well equipped cottage, the all you could ask for bedroom and en suite, the views, the swallows in the garden, the seals at the bottom of the garden, the easy access from the ferry, the helpful advice, the hearty breakfast or just the wonderful hospitality shown from Ian and Christine ...... It was all of that and more, we will certainly go back but for a much longer stay - thanks Ian and Christine

Room Tip: There are only two and both are superb
