Stayed at hotels all over the world - this must rank the worst I have ever stayed in.Giving it 1 star is being over generous.
It is clear the owners have tried to make improvements but these are very piecemeal and being an old building it needs a vast amount spent on it.
It is not acceptable in this day and age to have "bats" flying around the corridors -the overall appearance of public areas is exceptionally poor and once moving away from the main guest area the carpets and floor coverings are in a very poor state and to be honest the smell is not pleasant and that is being kind.
Furniture in room was in very poor condition and nothing was co-ordinated.
Whilst i accept the views are very nice you dont have to stay in the hotel to see them.
Under no circumstances would or could I recommend this establishment- in fact the local authority should be looking at the hotel and assesing the risks of staying in this property.
