A wonderful stay, with a wonderful service. The house is new, the cleanest as possible and very well decorated. The host is so kind and try to help you as much as possible. Don't hesitate to ask him advices on places to eat, to visit... He let us the possibility to dry our clothes (wet cause heavy rain) in a small room with heat.
The house is very well located : it is calm, but close enough to the city center to reach the harbour by feet to find a nice place to eat and to enjoy the sunset.

We stayed with James and Lynsey, who were thoughtful hosts, at the 'Agustin B&B' in Kyleakin, on the Isle of Skye for a few nights in August and had an excellent holiday.

The house looked to be newly built and furnished and was easily located just off the first roundabout over the Skye bridge upon entering Kyleakin. A very convenient location to be based for our holiday exploring the Isle of Skye.

We stayed in the en-suite double bedroom at the front of the house on the ground floor, which was tastefully decorated with a modern and minimalist style. There was a walk-in wardrobe and plenty of space to store our suitcases. The bed was very firm, yet cosy and the linen was comfortable. In addition to the fluffy towels in the bathroom, there were high quality hand and body wash and the shower was powerful and provided an invigorating way to start the day. When we returned to our room each day it had been thoroughly serviced and cleaned.

The only suggestion we have for improvement, and it only impacted on us in a minor way, is that it would be nice to have a little bit more furniture, for example a small table or chest of draws in the bedroom, just to layout some of our belongings.

Continuing with the positives, our hosts very kindly and without asking, provided us with proper wine glasses for us to enjoy a bottle of wine, that we had bought back, from one of our day trips out around Skye.

Continental breakfast is available between 08:00 and 09:30, with fresh cafetière coffee and a variety of speciality teas to accompany the toast. Additionally cheese and meats are offered alongside the cereals and yogurts if preferred. It's worth noting that the breakfast room is on the first floor, which offers fantastic views over the hills adjacent to Kyleakin harbour.

The closest place to find amenities whilst staying here is Kyleakin, just a short distance away, which offers a range of places to eat and a small grocery store. A greater range of facilities, e.g. a petrol station, cash machine and a Co-Op, can be found in Kyle of Lochalsh just back over the Skye bridge or in Broadford, which is 7 miles in the opposite direction.

In summary, the 'Agustin B&B' is an excellent place to stay whilst visiting the Isle of Skye and provides very comfortable accommodation, with James and Lynsey being professional and considerate hosts.

We would be more than happy to stay here again in future.

Room Tip: We can recommend the room we stayed in, which was the en-suite double on the ground floor, (room 1...

Newly furnished, very trendy rooms, which get cleaned every day including fresh towels. The only "normal" (powerful) shower we had on our 2 weeks-trip ;) Although "only" continental breakfast, the stunning view from the breakfast room over Kyle of Lochalsh makes up for it. Would have wanted some more shelves or small tables to put our things in the room & bathroom. No credit cards, only cash payments. Nice dinner recommendation from Jamie, the host (+ help with booking a table). Drying room was very helpful!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Agustin has a very relaxing atmosphere, the accommodation is very high standard with fresh towels every day and all very clean and modern.
Recommend the Plockton Inn for fresh fish menu and friendly service.

Me and my boyfriend came back from there three days ago. We were there from 30/06/14 to 02/07/14 and it was really wonderful. A beautiful place with lovely views. clean and nicely furnished rooms and very nice and helpful host. It is hard to believe that all this for such a low price, which is also a huge plus. Besides excellent and quiet location, delicious breakfast which you can eat at any time, what makes you feel there freely and comfortably. I would recommend this place to anyone! I'll be back there for sure, and already can not wait! Thank You for your hospitality and see U! ;)

Well located in a quiet sideroad away from all traffic yet very close to the Skye bridge and a 5 minute scenic walk to the pubs and restaurants in Kylakin. The host James is friendly and attentive, there only when needed at all other times its as though you have the house to yourself, the house is new as others have said, its also spotlessly clean, impeccably furnished and decorated, no expense has been spared to make guests comfortable.

The continental breakfast was great, the dining room is on the second floor with wonderful views of the Skye Bridge and across the narrows to Kyle of Lochalsh. The dining room runs on a very relaxing help yourself to what you want basis, fruit, cereal, cold meats and cheese with lashings of decent coffee all laid out for you.

My only niggle (and I do mean a very very small niggle) was the pillows, the beds and bedding were magnificent and very comfortable, the pillows alas were not up to the same standard as everything else they were new and very fresh but at the bottom end of quality, perhaps it was only the pillows in my room.

Room Tip: All the rooms James showed me were of the same high standard

I was here on aug 24, 2013 when I recently visited Scotland and this is a perfect place for anyone looking for b&b's in reasonable price. The hospitality we received is first class. Breakfast in morning is very nice and I recommend this place for sure. You will not be disappointed and I bet you.. Aye :)
