Stayed here as part of bus tour group. A good place with clean rooms and shower. They have a convenience store in the lodge itself. Small kitchen good enough if you want to make something. Amazing location, close to a withered castle which offers great views. The pub is nice and they serve good beer. Overall a good experience and good wifi connection as well.

Went here for dinner and drinks while staying in Kyleakin for a night on a 3 day bus tour. Tour guide Andrew told us to go here for our dinner, he said it has the best food in the village.

You order and pay at the bar,and they give you a wooden spoon with a number on it and then when the food is ready come and look for you.Food was good, took alittle bit for it to come, think there was some mix up in the kitchen with a few orders, but no big deal.... we were on holidays and not rushed. The place was packed when we arrived, we stayed for a few hours and when we left the place was still full of people.

Definitely would go back if in the area again, only reason I didn't give it 5 star's was because of the mix up in the kitchen and the amount of time it took to get our food.

4 of us booked a 4 bed dorm. Very clean and sturdy bunk beds.
The bar down stairs is great and they have a decent collection of highland whiskeys.

Pro Tips:
- Motor Biker friendly [The owners were bikers so feel free to ask for tips]
- Watch out for submarines surfacing :)

Room Tip: Book the sea facing rooms!

I stayed here for a night, the beds were comfortable but the rooms were a bit small. I stayed in a 6 bed room and there wasn't enough room for all of or bags. When i come back to the room i didn't want to turn on the light and tripped over other peoples stuff because they didn't have any where to put it. Pub has a great band playing and good price, some of the staff were not so friendly but it was made up for by the other staff.

I had a room overlooking the front lawn and the first night there was one of those 18yo and up groups that had taken over the place. They were outside until the wee hours of the night, hollering and such so I didn't get much sleep. The next night it was much quieter as this group had moved on. The beds were very, very comfy with nice down comforters on top of the beds. Great location in the center of town.
