Stayed here for two nights on 17th June after travelling from Loch Maddy on North Uist. The room was lovely, very large double room and large bathroom. It is only two minutes by car to the centre of Portree and would only take about ten minutes to walk I would think. There is ample parking with room for cars at the front and more space at the back. Norma`s breakfasts are really good and plenty of choice and it is very quiet at night with it being just outside the town of Portree. Bob is very good for information you may need, and he will print off a map and mark where the best sites and attractions are on Skye. We wished we had booked longer at the Bruach na Frithe as two nights is not long enough to see everything on Skye and I am sure we will be back here again. One place not to miss is the Fairy Glenn, it is like something out of the Hobbits with everthing in miniture, hills, trees and the pass through it. Ask Bob for directions as he told us not to miss it and we really enjoyed our visit there. I would highly recommend the Bruach na Frithe as a first class place to stay in a quiet part of Portree.
