We booked clay shooting and axe throwing and it did not disappoint!! Matt was our instructor for clay shooting and he was absolutely fantastic. Our daughter Morgan was nervous about shooting, but Matt was patient and explained everything step by step. Seeing Morgan hit her first clay was the best!! Matt was able to give each of us advice based on our previous experience with clay shooting and our personalities/abilities. He was encouraging and funny, and made our experience so much fun.
Next we tried axe throwing with James, who was really great about figuring out each of our individual styles of throwing and helping each of us hit at least one of the targets. My favorite moment was hitting a playing card on a target with an axe - I wasn’t sure that I would be able to do it. It was awesome to see how much each of us improved in a short period of
time.
We learned, we laughed, we had SO much fun. A huge thank you to Matt and all of the instructors at A.C.E. for an incredible experience - we can’t wait to come back again next time we visit Skye! Booking was super easy - a quick email to Matt and he was able to fit us in. I encourage everyone to book early and get ready for an awesome experience at A.C.E.!!

Booked in to do axe throwing with my folks and it was great fun! Instructor was calm and helpful, patient with my mother who really struggled in the beginning! Then nearly fainted when she almost won the game! Would absolutely recommend this experience for anyone looking for a wee something different when they’re on Skye, staff are all lovely and friendly (including the dogs) - 10/10 and will definitely be back on our next trip!

Had an amazing day out at ACE, first time clay pigeon shooting and axe throwing. Instructors Matt and Steve were great, they were serious when they needed to be but also had great banter (the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks) and pelters. They said their aim was to have us hitting clays and getting targets for axe throwing and they done that. The friendly dogs were a bonus aswell. Would definitely recommend for a great day out

Had the most amazing experience from start to finish! James was the best instructor and had us throwing axes like a pro in no time! He was very friendly and knowledgable although I think the real star was his son George who really knew his stuff and helped us improve our technique.
Can not recommend these guys enough, would love to go back to try some of their other activities if we ever find ourselves back on Skye.

This was our second visit here and Matt took us through Clay pigeon shooting - we had never done this before but he was such a fabulous instructor, we ended up being able to successfully hit some clays. However the session wasn't just about this, it was fun, informative and a great experience all round. You should definitely try it 😁👍🏴
