“Small & Cosy Excellent Tea House”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2013

Sitting underneath the Quirang this is a quite different and very much recommended stop for tea and cake on the North East Coast of Skye. Over 20 fine loose leaf Chinese and Indian teas are served alongside Fairtrade coffee. They also serve a selection of homemade cakes (including gluten free), soup and bread.

Their presentation and quality make it worth the cost and you are thoroughly recommended to put this hidden gem on your to do list.

“cup of tea but the presentation and quality ma”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2013

Wonderful homemade cakes made freshly each morning. Not the cheapest cup of tea but the quality and presentation makes it worth the cost. A definite stop on a trip round the north coast of Skye

“Small and cosy with BIG taste.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013 via mobile

We travelled here after visiting Kilt Rock on a beautifully sunny day. We managed to sit at the picnic table outside with our dogs and were greeted by the lovely resident dog. The choice of teas and cakes was superb and all the cakes were freshly made that day. A real hidden gem it easily beats afternoon teas I've had elsewhere. Wll definitely return the next time we're over on Skye. You do need to be patient because it's small and cosy by name and small and cosy by nature so do expect to wait at busy times but the cake is delicious.

“Fantastic cakes a d cuppa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013

Huge choice of teas... And unusual selection of cakes. Prune and maple cream, coconut and silk meringue cream.... All delicious and home made. Choice of coffees too.
Friendly service. Nothing else for miles.
Absolutely fantastic.

“Cosy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013

Great atmosphere (décor and ambience) as well as polite staff even though they were rushed off their feet. Chai tea was excellent, as were the cakes (good portions and well made). Felt a little disappointed that there wasn't a larger selection of cakes left (some had sold out and it was only the middle of the day). Also, a Tea shop without Scones? And on a hot day like we had perhaps an opportunity to sit outside, perhaps like a picnic.
