Great experience. Friendly staff. Good place to stay with kids.really enjoyed my stay. Close to Edinburgh to visit the sights without having to be in Edinburgh. Kids thought it was great. Nice beefeater restaurant next door

Stayed at this Premier Inn for two nights with my partner. We selected this hotel for convenience being close to places we needed to visit and the airport. The hotel was everything I have come to expect from Premier Inn - comfortable, clean and quiet, backed up with their guarantee. I had no complaints. We also took some meals in the attached Beefeater restaurant. In the main the food wad wholesome but the service specifically at breakfast fell a little short of the mark with insufficient staff on duty to keep pace with the numbers of diners.

My only gripe was a noisy family in the room above as the noise through the floor was a bit too much and i wear ear plugs!!
Apart from that everything else was superb, great service, spotlessly clean. Costs were higher due to the rugby in Edinburgh.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room so you dont have noisy families jumping up and down on the floor above, sto...

The staff are fantastic - friendly, helpful, make you feel really welcome. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Really can't fault it. Breakfasts at the Beefeater are first class and good value for money.

Excellent receptionist and welcome very late at night. Room very reasonable for the price, but as in other Premier Inns in need of modernisation. Breakfast very good. Staff excellent. Very convenient for motorways would not like to spend more than one night there.

Quite simply, superb staff - friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent quality at reasonable price. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms excellent and great-value breakfasts. Rail connections to Glasgow and Edinburgh reasonably close and ample car parking facilities available.

Stayed here for one night and the first thing that struck us was that old fashioned keys are handed over at check-in and not electronic cards!

This obviously means that the hotel has not been renovated for a while and I am afraid to say that the room reflected this. Small TV, old style bedroom furnishings, and for £59 for the night it was a little on the expensive side for the room we received.

The water pressure from the shower was not great. The kettle took ages to boil. Also, the lights from the car park could clearly be seen around the curtain edges.

The Beefeater restaurant (Deer Park) next door was superb and never too busy to find a table to sit at.

All the staff were superb in both the Premier Inn and the Restaurant but the old style rooms have reflected my 3 start rating.
