This place is well worth a visit. The food is fantastic and the couple who run the place are so welcoming. They're obviously really popular with the locals too as they new everyone who walked threw the door, by their first name. Well worth a visit.

Years ago, before going into the wilderness to fish, we visited this coffee shop - its was excellent then. We came back for a short holiday in Poolewe and returned to Bridge Cottage Coffee shop - it is quite the best. The past two day we had lunch - excellent soups and cakes to die for. Today we decided as a finale we would take breakfast in BCC - I have never, not even in the best of hotels, tasted such beautiful and smooth scrambled egg with smoked salmon.
The menu is of the best and local quality, you know this in the tasting, the owners who serve you are professional, friendly, and non invasive.
We are 'foodies' could say we know our stuff, this Coffee Shop is absolutely excellent.

We stopped here for a tea break on our journey north and we're really glad we did! Lovely small café serving the most delicious cakes - friendly, smiley staff and clearly a popular place with locals and visitors. Very impressed that they source much of their food locally and refuse to use genetically modified products. Gallery upstairs selling a range of pictures, crafts, cards and jewellery.

Who ever bakes for this coffee shop deserves a medal. My Victoria sponge was perfect. Unbelievably light, moist and very tasty. This place rightly prides itself on using local produce and it shows. Service is impeccable with a refreshingly honest approach to customer service.

First visited the Bridge Cottage Cafe in 2012 and so made point of going again in 2013. It is small, friendly and the cakes are outstanding. I particularly like the emphasis on using local and seasonal produce.
