“A great stay in Braemar”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

We stayed for four nights at this lovely B&B. Andy and Liz are superb hosts - very efficient and friendly. They provided lots of information on local facilities (right down to recommending particular dishes at nearby restaurants - which were spot on!), lent us an OS map for the duration of our stay and made us feel really welcome. Breakfasts were very good - especially smoked salmon and scambled egg - with plentiful tea or coffee. We had a very comfortable and spacious room at the front of the property. Highly recommend a stay here.

We spent two very pleasant nights here recently. Liz and Andy were very welcoming and happy to provide recommendations and advice. The room was clean and comfortable although ours was a little small. Breakfast was very good too.

Only spent one night here (this time), and it was very nice. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere... lovely hosts... and a great breakfast! Everything was nice and clean, and for a single room, very spacious.

We spent two lovely nights at this very comfortable B&B. Liz and Andy were wonderful hosts, sharing with us their local knowledge. Rooms very clean and comfortable and we started each day with a hearty Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay. Enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts Liz and Andy. The furnishings in our room were perfect. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good, no waiting involved. Great suggestions on where to eat. Strongly recommend staying at Callater Lodge with its warm hospitality.

This property is a wonderful place to stay in Braemar. Liz and Andy are welcoming, friendly hosts anxious to help make your stay the very best it can be. The rooms are well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, wifi, and a good sleep assured on the comfortable bed. There is an excellent guest lounge and a wonderful range of hot and cold foods for breakfast. We will return when next we stay in Braemar.

Our thanks to Andy and Liz for a sod earful 3 day stay at their B&B in beautiful Braemar. The rooms are not huge, but they have everything you could need and are very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was very filling and a good way to start the day. I would also like to complement Liz's cooking.... Still the best soup I have had in ages! Both Andy and Liz went out of their way to be friendly, informative and and help us with anything we needed for our daughter.
We wish we could have stayed longer!
