Eight of us, feeling peckish during a walk, popped into the restaurant for lunch and were not disappointed.

“Highest course in UK”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Braemar is a cracking wee course, strangely enough in doesn't have any bunkers, but that doesn't make it any easier.
There is a bit of criss crossing on some holes. The greens are excellent and you have to be straight. It was in amazing condition when you consider the winter weather up there for 4 months of the year. Braemar still holds the record for the coldest temperature recorded in Britain (-27.2c on 10/01/82)! The clubhouse is comfortable and welcoming and all the staff are friendly. Highly Recommended.
