I stayed here for 15 nights whilst on business in Inverurie, I should have walked away when i booked in and was met by a man wearing a hoodie and was wanting the full 15 night payment upfront ( this was the only time I saw any one in reception whilst I stayed ). The hotel needs updating and there description on there web site is not a true picture of the place especcially when you see the front of the building and the broken windows on the upper floors!! Food is not served here you have to go to the local chippy or restraunt in Inverurie. ( they have the local takeaway restraunt next door ). Breakfast was supposed to be conntinental which was several days old Croissants and old yougart which had expired and some times if you were lucky some milk for your coffee if the kettle worked. The Room was small and heating was temprimental. The TOWEL was changed every 3 - 4 days, I had to go looking for a toilet roll. I had to use my own coffee in the room as the coffee and milk sachets were 2 MONTHS out of date.
After my stay I discovered they had taken another £50 from my bank account, after trying to phone the manager / owner about it he sayed it was a double booking by Late Rooms and told me to contact them, After contacting Late Rooms who said it had nothing to do with them and they had problems contacting the hotel on my behalf. the situation is now being dealt with the Nat West Bank and the police. Also the trading standards agency have been informed.

This hotel should be condemned! Arrived..no one on reception..wandered through dark hotel. Found bar. Asked barman for key. Barman asked me to pay upfront..should have been a clue. He showed me to room Along a dark threadbare dirty corridor, took a lot of work to open door with key.. Finally opened it.. Hmm old fashioned..hole in wardrobe door covered with sellotaped picture of a dove. Checked bedding, was clean. Bathroom very dated but cleanish. Whole place was v cold. Shower was useless. Walls were v thin could hear everything from room next door and people walking along corridor. Eventually got to sleep. Woke up for breakfast. Went downstairs, didn't know where to go and no one to ask. Found room next to reception in darkness managed to see loaf of bread at a toaster made toast. Was total self service and not my idea of a continental breakfast. Cutlery and crockery was dirty. And no one to ask for more place was deserted. Went out for day, returned and bed, woke next morning still having found no staff.. Tried to check out..so left keys sitting on reception and went to the beautiful meldrum house hotel for breakfast, not to be confused with this tip! So..would I stay there again? No bloody way

Room Tip: Don't go here!

No positives about this place at all, pictures on website do not relate on any way to room that I was allocated (rm 4) very run down, dirty & uncomfortable. All facilities are very lacking including staff attitude & the DIY breakfast.Spoke to other residents & they agreed with all & more of these comments,if you can avoid it do not stay here. PS £45.00 was what the stay cost per night.

Just got back from staying here for two nights and have an awful stomach bug convinced I picked something up from the room, which I felt hadn't be cleaned properly for a very long time! Totally over priced should have been half of what we paid and it is definitely not a 'continental' breakfast. I felt like was in a run down hostel- don't stay here!!

Room Tip: The Redgarth up the road is meant to be lovely
