We were on a three night stay as part of a holiday travelling round the isles. We had a superior room which was well worth it for the the tremendous view and extra space.
The food both at breakfast and dinner was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. A Very relaxing and memorable stay.

Coming off the ferry at Jura we knew this was going to be a spectacular trip and we were not wrong. The Jura Hotel is in Craighouse and is situated right next to the water; from the restaurant and bar there is a great view across the water during twilight. The hotel was busy but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, efficient but happy to chat. Our room (15) was spacious and well decorated, on one side we could see the Jura distillery, on the other the view across the water. Our bed was HUGE and very comfortable and I think we had the best showers of our week long trip to Scotland! The breakfasts were substantial, exactly what you need for walking all day, and the evening meals featured local produce; definitely try the langoustines, delicious. The bar appears to be one of the, if not the only, bar on Jura and contains a mix of locals as well as guests, which adds to the ambience. We loved Jura so much we wanted to change our plans to stay one extra night and the hotel were brilliant in accommodating us at short notice. We will definitely be back to visit Jura and the Jura Hotel.

Our Scottish friends highly recommended a trip to Jura and we were uncertain given its remoteness, but we couldn't have been happier with our visit. The island is amazing, and the Jura Hotel is a true gem, managed by a young couple who are clearly focusing on customer service, good food, and overall wonderful hospitality. The rooms were roomy, clean, and updated. The food was outstanding, both in quality and value, featuring locally sourced seafood. Delicious. The pub is lively and a mix of travelers and locals. Service during our two night stay was outstanding, cheerful and enthusiastic. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come back. Give Jura, and the Jura Hotel, a visit. You won't be disappointed.

A spacious room overlooking the harbour with private bathroom.- comfortable, clean and very quiet. Staff were welcoming and kind. dinner (with local produce on offer) and breakfast were excellent. On our final morning we had to leave before scheduled breakfast to catch ferry to Tayvallich but were still able to help ourselves to cereal etc. Would definitely like to come back again!

Room Tip: rooms overlooking sea are quiet and have a wonderful view

This hotel is well worth a visit. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night.

The rooms are very comfortable, and we had a great sea view from one window, and a view of the Jura distillery from the other. This isn't a bad thing. I was on Jura to tour the distillery !!

Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the bar was lively and well stocked with multiple varieties of Jura that I didn't know existed.

The whole island is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. I would love to visit again some time.

Room Tip: Get a sea view - the bay is stunning in the morning.

Had a wonderful one night stay. Clean room with comfy bed and excellent shower, lovely view - everything you need for a short break. Evening bar meal had generous portions and great atmosphere. Owners and staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Only regret was couldn't stay longer......
