Probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at. There was a certain warmth about the place and the double room was superb; modern, yet homely and in keeping with the character of the hotel. The evening meal was cooked to order, very reasonably priced and well worth the wait, especially with the beautiful view over the bay. Breakfast was also excellent with the option of packed lunches if you required. The staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

This hotel has it all: exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who work very hard to ensure the guests are looked after, very clean and comfortable rooms, hot powerful showers, inclusive internet access, and views to feed the soul. The restaurant is contemporary and offers a wide selection of dishes, with a menu that has elements which change daily. If you want a really relaxing break, then book here.

We stayed here for 3 nights at Easter. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and Cath and Andy (the owners) made us feel very welcome. They were always there to help or answer any questions. We had a lovely, comfortable, warm room with stunning views across the bay. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We also recommend the packed lunch which was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Isle of Jura Hotel (just wished we could have stayed longer) and will definitely return.

Another enjoyable weekend at the Jura Hotel. So comfortable, clean and welcoming. Food is delicious and the portions are huge. We are big eaters but struggled to eat both a starter and a main. Breakfast very relaxing and the young waiter was hilarious although he needs more practice at "the love shack" :-) . Looking forward to returning home again soon. Thank you to all. x

Room Tip: Ask for a bay view.

Stayed here last week on a quick trip to Jura.

The hotel is situated right by the distillery overlooking the bay towards the mainland.

We had a Superior room overlooking the sea (highly recommended as I wouldn't want to come all this way and overlook the car park!). It was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want.

No TV but there is one in the residents lounge downstairs if you feel deprived.
The hotel does however have free WiFi if you want to keep in touch with the outside world.

We ate in the Lounge Bar, and for a small hotel (especially out-of-season) the menu was extensive (including a daily specials board) and the quality of food was very high. (And the portions were enormous..)
Dinner was not cheap - £35 each including wine - but it was a meal to remember. (Very few -if any - other places to eat on the island, so could prove expensive if you're staying the week!)

Special mention too for the staff who were all very friendly and welcoming.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking bay
