We stayed in the little self catering cottage next to the hotel for seven days. it was clean and fine for two people. The cottage had everything you need for self catering with good kitchen facilities including washing machine, Iron board and so on. A couple of nights we eat in the hotel lounge and the food was fine with plenty on the plate. The ideal location means you are not far away from Crinan, Lochgilphead, Kilmartin and is ideally located for exploring all the historical locations nearby. The staff and locals seemed friendly enough and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

This is a small pub run by a local family who live on the premises. If you are looking for a friendly local atmosphere, pub style accommodation, then this is probably for you.
The Bar has a good open fire for those chilly days, and is frequented by friendly locals who will make you feel welcome. The owners have a dog, cats and ducks and are obviously animal lovers. Well behaved dogs are welcome, though they may put on weight as there a dog biscuits to be had at the bar!
The Lounge is slightly quieter and is often used as well as the dining room for meals. There is a standard menu as well as a large 'specials' board. Portions are large and the quality is good, mostly being home cooked and prepared. Prices are about average for pub meals.
The pub offers traditional draught beer (recommended in CAMRA Good Beer Guide) as well as keg beers and a good selection of Whiskies.
The rooms are small but comfortable and clean.
Located on the old road through the village of Bridgend just north of Lochgilphead, it is quiet and there is parking available.

It should be noted that there are no shops or other facilities within a couple of miles. There are infrequent local buses and taxis are not always available.

This is a small Inn located in Argyll, Scotland, and w thought it was very nice. It has a fantastic CAMRA pub which serves real ale. The rooms were well - kept and reasonably priced. The breakfast is not included in the price of the room, but we went with the full cooked breakfast and it was very good.
