By far one of the best B&Bs that we have stayed in. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The actual B&B is in a lovely location not far from Kilmartin. The room and bathroom were both clean, modern and tasteful. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good range of choices. We would thoroughly recommend Skookum House.

Room Tip: If you have a dog, ask for one of the downstairs rooms as this gives easy access outdoors.

Just spent a couple of nights at Skookum House with my daughter. Beautiful, clean home from home that was quiet and secluded but close to local amenities also. Food of excellent quality and very fresh, cooked to order. We didn't use the sauna or snooker room but if they were of the same standard as everywhere else then you won't be disappointed. Hoping to return later in the year with the rest of the family. Thank you for a relaxing couple of days.

The best most relaxing week I have ever had! Great place to relax and chill out from the city. Stuart makes you feel very welcome and makes the best poached eggs for breakfast which I would highly recommend ! The rooms are not only immaculate but beautiful and tastefully and has everything you need. I left feeling very relaxed and really look forward to my return visit.

We just booked one night's stay last minute and were really impressed by Skookum House. The location feels remote and secluded yet is very handy for all the nearby sites and walks. Rooms really clean and comfortable with the spacious layout and extra spaces such as the reading room making you feel as though you are staying in your own home. Stuart's local knowledge was really helpful and he also cooks a mean scrambled egg with hot smoked salmon - so save your appetite for breakfast! We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

We've just finished a 4 day visit to Argyll and stayed at Skookum House. This was a family holiday with our 9 year old daughter. Stuart looked after us brilliantly with nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic. We'd definitely stay there again if we were to return to Argyll.

Thanks Stuart.

This week I used Skookum House as a base for a business trip. Easy to access in lovely surroundings.
Stayed for two nights and it was fantastic! Beautifully appointed room with clean ensuite shower room, a lovely breakfast (bagel with scambled eggs from happy chickens and local smoked salmon) and Stuart's friendly banter and recommendations of local places to eat was much appreciated.
Definitely worth coming back to!
