We arrived off a bus on a wet evening and were slightly late for the set meal. But Jim and Ele gave us a warm welcome and the time to sort ourselves out before eating. The room was comfortable and quiet. Although it's called a "travel lodge", it's more like a traditional guest house (the building uses to be an cinema). Breakfast was good, and then Ele went the extra mile in letting us leave our bags at the hotel for an hour or so while we went for a stroll and organised our next stop. Very much recommended.
