Cannot fault the friendliness of the staff here, however we had several easily avoidable issues during a one-night stay. Front door was locked on arrival (other guests let us in a side door), no towels in room, missing wifi password, 'ring for service' bells just didn't work. Room was basic and overpriced for a couple - we could have booked into a nearby B&B for £20-30 less, and the dinner service (slow then undercooked meat) didn't make up for it unfortunately. Perhaps an 'off' night, a shame because staff were quick to attend to issues, though with slightly better organisation it would have been right first time.
