My wife and I returned to Kilcamb for our annual visit - we've been there for the past 10 years. We spent two nights with dinner, bed & breakfast and what a treat. We tried the tasting menu and were delighted. The experience of the stay was magic with great accomodation, food & staff. See you next year !

'Had another memorable stay at Kilcamb Lodge. Lovely comfortable rooms, nice bed linens, lovely fluffy towels and wonderful attention from all the staff. Dinner's were delicious and breakfast, was "fit for a king". We look forward to returning once again very soon. Thank you all'

this was our first stay at Kilcamb Lodge, and we were made welcome from the moment we set foot in the door. Friendly staff checked us in, and carried our bags to our comfy bedroom. This had a good bath - essential to soak after a long highland walk. The restaurant has a splendid menu, slanted towards the seafood side - we had scallops, langoustines, and washed down by an excellent bottle. We returned after a long walk, to pick up our bags, and the staff had retrieved my jacket - left by mistake in the wardrobe.
And I nearly forgot the view - out over serene, beautiful Loch Sunart - a place to remember.

We are so pleased to read how much you enjoyed your stay with us and I note how helpful and friendly our staff were. This seems to be a common thread with nearly all our reviews and we are very proud to have them on our team. They are indeed friendly and helpful to all our guests.
I hope your memories of Kilcamb Lodge will stay with you and that you will return again soon.

Kind regards

My boyfriend booked a table at Kilcamb to celebrate my 40th birthday and what a wonderful evening we had. It is the perfect destination for a celebration meal and especially for a romantic evening too. The Lodge is stunning in manicure grounds with a majestic view. Sadly it was a little too cold to hang around so we ran inside to find a grand yet homely welcome. It is what you would imagine a Scottish Highland lodge to be, stylishly decorated, warm and with just the right amount of chintzy chic! We enjoyed an aperitif in the larger of the two lounges, sat back in 2 fabulous lazy armchairs until guided through to the wonderful, romantic dining room. Service was slick but with a perfectly formal and friendly smile. We enjoyed a fantastic bottle of red and devoured every course. My main course of belly pork was the best I've ever had and my chap's risotto starter was also the best he's ever had. We had to share pudding in fear of not being able to move but my gosh we devoured every last mouthful and fought over the last spoonful of a marvellous chocolate fondant and ice-cream, delicious! Lazily making our way back to the lounge we sank into two more arm chairs as coffee was served along with 'surprise!!!' a birthday cake and candles served up with a song by the staff. A total surprise, thank you so much! Sadly we were so full that we could only share one slice, along with 1 of the delectable truffles the cake was served with...but luckily the cake was wrapped up to take home with us, result!! As other guests left the lounge we snook into and sank into the sofas to relax for an hour with our coffees before having to get up and leave our soft seats but as we left, glancing back at the lodge lit up in the night sky a shooting star whizzed by. A perfect end to a perfect night! Thank you all at Kilcamb for making my birthday one to remember. From magician's in the kitchen to super waiting staff you make this place very special and we had a truly wonderful evening.

What a lovely review!! We are so pleased that your Birthday treat was everything you had hoped for although I must confess that shooting stars are not part of our service but how wonderful to see one on such a special evening. Thank you and do come and visit again soon.

Kindest regards

The first night we just came in for dinner and as we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, we booked ourselves in to stay in the hotel for the next night on full board. It is such a nice place to stay in and everything was perfect for us. One littel downside was that there was not much waterpressure in the shower (room 9) but that will not keep us from returning should we make it to this area again.

We thank you for your great review and your feed back and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed yourself so much you came back for a overnight stay.
I am sorry that the shower was not very powerful. We will look into this and see if it can be improved for your next visit.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write.

This is a lovely place to stay for a quiet night in western Scotland. Most importantly, they boast a top-class dining facility. We had a truly terrific dinner, based on seafood but w/lots more. Staff were friendly and we had a nice chat w/the owners.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at Kilcamb. Very friendly welcome to my husband, the dog and me. Enjoyed afternoon tea outdoors with amazing views. Dinner is flawless. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Waiting staff were as attentive as you would like without being pushy. Enjoyed breakfast outdoors on our last morning which was served to perfection.
Amazing grounds which our dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Very tranquil location in stunning scenery.
Highly recommended!
