Stayed here last week. The cottage was impeccable and Chris and Christie were lovely hosts. The views at the back of the cottage are stunning, even more so when viewed from the hot tub. Great location with strontian just down the road for supply's. It's a fantastic base for anyone wanting to do any of the many activities available on the western isles. Really enjoyed my stay here and so did the rest of our party. I would definitely use the cottage again and also recommend it to others

Stunning house with brilliant views. Extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. The grandchildren collected eggs on Easter Sunday and many thanks for that Chris. Would definately stay again as slept like a log in an extremely comfortable bed. The hot tub was fantastic and there were plenty of toys and DVDs for the children .

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, we really do appreciate it.
Only too delighted to show your children the hens and sheep, they were so full of questions and really seemed to enjoy themselves.
Thanks for the feedback about the beds, comfortable beds are essential in our opinion!
We look forward to seeing you again.

We had a family get together at Blubell Croft using both coattage, from the very first second we stepped inside we were confronted to homebaked bread and scones,The cottages are very well equipped inside and out with an amazing Aga range cooker a conventional oven and everything you need if you are eating in,the rooms are spacious with most having an ensuit wet room, the Gardens are well equipped for eating alfresco with plenty room for kids to play and bounce on the large trampoline..and the hot tub just seals the deal a fantastic way to relax at the end of the day after hiking on one of the many hil and forest walks..I really cannot praise this accommodation highly enough, and Chris and Chrissy are fantastic host who would go out their way to do any thing or answer any queries you have,if I could give this a 10 star rating I would,

“Fantastic stay once again!”

This has been our third time staying at Bluebell Croft and each time we have been extremely impressed with the welcome we have received and the standard and quality of the accommodation. The welcome pack is a nice touch as is the casserole which is available upon request. We have stayed in both cottages which are both very well stocked and had everything we needed. It was lovely to relax in front of a log fire and gaze at the stars from the hot tub.

The Croft is delightful with its array of animals and fowl. It is in a wonderful location with stunning views, close to many walks in woodland and at the side of lochs. It is a great place to explore the Penninsula.

It is certainly a place we will return too!

Our group of 10 stayed at Blubell Croft for a winter trip to Scotland and had the most amazing time. Huge thanks to Chrissie & Chris for making us feel so welcome.

The photos don't do the place justice; the property occupies a stunning location on the side of a valley looking out over the surrounding hills. Bluebell Croft is fitted out to a very high standard and was impeccably clean throughout. As a group of 10 (all couples), we were extremely comfortable, with double beds for all, most with en-suites (a real rarity in Scotland) and ample group cooking equipment; they have thought of everything! The log burning stoves were a delight to come back too after a long day walking and the hot tub was incredible; with views over nearby mountains and amazing stars at night. The place is well stocked with games for those wet days or long winter nights. The welcome package was also gratefully received; the scones were fantastic!

There are some great walks out of the door including lots of scenic short walks and 2 mountains (corbetts). We drove over to nearby Polloch and did the 'Loch Shiel viewpoint walk' which is a very highly recommended short walk with great views; but the Ardmanurchan peninsula offers countless other possibilities. For Munros, you need to take the ferry to Mull or Glen Coe though.

Overall, I cannot rate Bluebell Croft enough; we look forward to coming back!

“Our 5 Star Luxury Dive Trip!”
Reviewed 25 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

At Dundee Uni Sub Aqua Club 'luxury' is not something we come across often. The original plan was three nights of camping on the west coast in january, until i said no way lets find a hot tub. We joked and fantasised about our ideal accomodation, then we actually found it! Chris and Chrissie were so welcoming and we had the best trip in the history of winter dive trips!
The accomodation is wonderful, we immediately felt at home. We were spoiled with scones, wine and plenty of firewood. The loaction was perfect, the views, the beds and of course the much appreciated hot tub!
We had such a wonderful time that we plan to return next year for a full week.
The only complaint from the whole trip was that we had to leave!

“Fantastic family holiday”
Reviewed 25 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We had a great family holiday in both Honeysuckle and Rose Cottage. Both properties are very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great welcome by Chrissie with hot scones, home-made bread and jam. The houses are in a great location with fantastic views and great walks on your doorstep. The hot tub was amazing. Sitting looking up at the starry night sky with a glass of fizz was special! We look forward to returning one day soon!
