We've been visiting the Ariundle Centre now for 9 years and are looking forward to eating there again this summer. Kate and her team are so friendly and welcoming, and in all our holidays spent in the Strontian area whenever we visit the Ariundle Centre it feels like coming home.

The food is wonderful and even with our fussy eater of a son, Kate has always been able to offer something to tempt him to eat. Its a place for taking your time and relaxing as you enjoy the peace and scenery before the food arrives. Its also a lovely place for a coffee or cake in the afternoons and our children love to run around the field out the back.

Would recommend to anyone looking for fresh produce, generous portions and a soothing atmosphere.

Hidden gem and could hardly believe our luck that it was open until 2100hrs. Fantastic location and some great walks nearby. Just as well , given the generous helpings of homemade soup, warm bread rolls and amazing range of home made cakes . The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, despite us dripping wet walking gear everywhere. We paid two visits in the week. Took a card as can see us staying here in the future

We were drawn in for some restbite from a bitter wind and heavy rain. The friendly service and log burner were just what we needed. An old school desk, stool and toys kept our son occupied while we enjoyed a fantastic slice of rocky road. Unfortunately the deluxe hot chocolate was a bit of a let down and the late we ordered was too strong and had no froth. However we would happily visit again and there are some lovely walks in the area.

We ate here on a very wet and windy lunchtime in late October. The log burner struggled to lift the temperature but the food and the welcome helped lift the spirits. The soup was warming and definitely not from a packet. Tea (leaf not bagged) was served in china cups and saucers and was very much appreciated. the food was hot and freshly prepared, but the time taken to serve belied the number of people in the place, almost deserted, but very slow - although the staff were very friendly. Well priced and tasty.

Myself, Jen and friends (14 of us) stayed in the bunkhouse accommodation nearby and ate here two nights. The second night was our final Corbett celebration meal and the hosts laid on a great three course meal, with fine ales and wine at good prices. The venue, just north of Strontian takes some getting to but the area is worth it. and the Ariundle centre a pleasant place to eat. Trips out from here up Ben Resipol and the other mountains are very popular, justly so. Equally to continue on the narrow road to Ardnamurchan Point (and the lighthouse cafe) well worth it in good weather. Somewhat easier to get there via teh Tobermory-Kilchoan ferry heowwever!).
