Robin's Nest is somewhere we tend to go when friends are visiting. Good food, very clean surroundings, but can be busy.

Have visited this tea room a number of times over the years. The food, standards of service an friendly staff are always consistent.
Popped in here for lunch recently and the mushroom soup was excellent. Great stop if passing through as it is only just off the main road.
The Robins Nest is a must when in Taynuilt.
We visit The Robin's Nest every time we are in Argyll with our caravan. It serves lovely tasty soups which are generally different from standard fayre. The home baking is always fresh and tempting.
The owner and her staff are very child friendly and there is always enough milk shake left over for a top up. Prices are modest and great value.
We went as a family of 5 Grandma, Mum, Dad, Daughter 4, Son 2. We felt very welcome and had a delicious simple lunch - homemade celery soup, sandwiches & cakes for afters. Everything was home made including the beautifully fresh bread. It was reasonably priced and they were very family friendly even though we were the only people in there with young children. Would definiely recommend a stop for lunch or afternoon tea to anyone staying in or passing through Taynuilt!
We had a really great lunch here during our visit to Taynuilt. Simple, well cooked homely food at its best. Not a great deal of choice, but what was served was excellent and good value.
