A warm welcome and good homely fare await you here. There are theme nights but have the burgers or the shellfish....and a meringue !

The owners are wonderful and the food and drinks are first class. It is a central hub of the village and is a great place to meet the locals

Revisited this bistro but unfortunately did not have same experience as on previous occasions (down to the absence of the friendly lady owner ).
The waiting staff were pleasant and the food was ok but after sending back a meringue with runny cream which tasted off, we were approached by a surly gentleman/ manager who remonstrated that there was nothing wrong with the cream which had just been whipped that morning!
However he did waive the charge for the meringue.
Unfortunately our experience of this bistro has now been "soured" and we will think twice before returning! A real shame- perhaps some training in customer service would be a good idea.

Stopped here for a lunchtime coffee and scone - both were good.

Great place to sit outside on a sunny and watch life go by - slowly! Would definitely recommend.
