“Acussed of theft !!”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Just returned from the BB, everything was fine and we were having a good time then on returning to the BB to pick up our cases the owner decided to accuse two couples in our party of theft ie stealing towels from the room.
These two couples are honest hard working couples and have never stolen anything in their lives.
absolutely disgusted.!!!

Room Tip: just don't go

As I reported yesterday, yes your friends are responsible for removing two sets of towels from our home.
Disgusting that you think you have the right to write a bad comment about our business and as I reported yesterday your friend that booked the accommodation threatened me and my business over the phone on Sunday with Giving us bad reviews if I charged his credit card for the towels, and as for yourself you were not accused of the theft of towels as your room was accounted for, I just hope other B&B's and Hotel owners read my response to your poison pen letter and take note of you and your friends behaviour

Just returned from an overnight stay in Rothesay, at the Glendale. The Glendale is perfectly situated, great accommodation, great host, honestly, if you want to see the Island, and Mount Stuart, Book!

Room Tip: We didn't have a sea view, so would advise, to book in advance, to look at the spectacular views...

I stayed here while on a scuba diving weekend, the hotel and rooms were clean and spot on, the owner was friendly, the service was great, the breakfast's were lovely on both days, the view across the sea and harbour was great, I persuaded the owner (didn't get his name) to introduce me to his boxer dog named hooch who was lovely, I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay

Recently stayed in Rothesay. Happened upon this wonderful guest house. Stayed in the sea view room at the front of the house facing Rothesay Harbour. I can't say enough about the house or the host. The room was Jacobean themed. As was the communal lounge. In fact the whole house seemed similarly decorated. Beautiful. Spotlessly clean. Kier the host was extremely welcoming and the full Scottish breakfast was magnificent. Would highly recommend this guest house. Ignore negative reviews. I am extremely picky and would be hard pressed to find much to complain about. Thank you for sharing your home.

Room Tip: Check with local tourist info centres for help finding accommodation.

My brother and I had some family business to attend to in Rothesay and booked an overnight stay at this wonderful, quirky, B&B. The views from the window were absolutely spectacular and well worth the price. The full breakfast the following day was generous to a fault, and even though I was a little queasy I ate with relish. Lots of coffee, etc. If you have the opportunity give it a try you won't be disappointed. Although it was booked as a "twin" we were provided with a double bed and couch, plus the twins, much more than we anticipated. The host Keir was very helpful and couldn't have been more pleasant. If we ever return we will have no hesitation in staying again.

Room Tip: We had a sea view room which we had asked for and were not disappointed - the views are breathtakin...

Booked for 1 night in the family room. The room had a double bed and a single bed. Good sized room but didn't have a good view of the sea, which wasn't an issue.

The guest lounge was lovely to sit at night with a few drinks over looking the harbour and we were allowed to bring our own drinks into this room.

The breakfast was amazing in the morning. We had a lot of choice but went for the fry up. Was delicious and Kier who owns the b&b was very attentive and offered us more toast etc.

Would definitely stay here again if visiting Rothsey. Ideally located about a 3minute walk from the town centre and ferry terminal.
