“Lovely place, bit of confusion with owners to say the least”
Reviewed 5 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

As for the buildings quality and location, I cannot speak highly enough of it. The flat is vast and furnished to a very high and luxurious standard, the photos don't do it justice. My dealings with owner Callum H were nothing but pleasant, I won't go into too much detail about my dealings with co owner (Mrs _?__) other than a little tweak of attitude wouldn't go a miss. A few hours into our stay I answered a knock on the door to a camera in my face, 2 angry females and an angry male demanding why a "rave" was going on in the flat. This "rave" is called people enjoying themselves on New Year's Eve, no strobe lights were present. Mrs _____ and co thought the 4 bedroom property was only having 2 guests, I tried to book it for 10 and there had obviously been an admin error, 2 people don't need a place this size. I told them I tried to book for 10 and it was booked through trip advisor, at this point Mrs ___ adamantly argued telling me it is impossible to book through trip advisor, and because there's 10 people we'd need to pay more. I produced 10 emails that said otherwise. During this drama I was passed the phone to Callum H who, once again was nothing but pleasant and advised me where the extra beds were located and assured us its the same price for 2 people and 10 people. Complete contrast to Mrs ___. If the co owner (Mrs ___) has any quibbles with this review and the authenticity of it they are welcome to post their own recording of the whole thing.

“Loved our stay, everything close by and room for family join us.”

We booked for 3 nights to visit our family who stay on the island and found Bridge St to be the most economical as we needed rooms for 9 of us to stay. Was half the price of a hotel for our get together with family before Christmas. On arriving as we had some free bubbly in the fridge, nice touch. This place is huge and we all loved the big living room, nice dinning table area onto a modern kitchen. We even had our local family around for dinner as this place is way bigger than their flat. Lovely clean modern home. When we come back next summer we will stay here again.

We had a 2 night stay and could not fault the apartment at all. The owner went out of his way to give us a warm welcome. We will use this apartment again when staying on the Isle of Bute!
