“Lovely shop with nice mix of food and crafts”
Reviewed 20 October 2013 via mobile

We live just 2 miles away, but had never taken the time to go there - We wish now that we had visited months ago as this is a lovely shop to visit! The tastefully converted farm barn holds a treasure trove of luxury and local foods and stylish crafts. A wide range of cakes and pastries looked wonderful nestled amongst the wicker and we were taken by breadth of fine foods, particularly the cheeses, pates, oils and dressings, wines and beers, and biscuits and breads. A warm stove with surrounding stools offers an opportunity to sip a coffee whilst taking in the ambience. - A lovely place to stop off to combine a little bit of comfort with a very nice shopping experience.

“Excellent Shop”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

This is just what the area required, a farm shop selling decent local (for the main part) produce. Found it by accident but was highly impressed by the produce and traditional west of Scotland welcome. This really is a wee gem and thoroughly recommended to holidaymakers and locals alike, I hope it continues to flourish as the staff are such nice people.

“A Foodies Delight”
Reviewed 20 April 2013

Just discovered this fab little farm shop on the A82 (across the road from the Carrick Golf & Spa resort). What a find for all you foodies our there !!! It is like an Aladin's cave of food. From fresh meats and veg to cakes, wine, flowers and hundreds of deli type items including salmon and Scottish cheese. Myself and husband had the sirloin steaks on Friday and they were out of this world. There is coffee, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream to go and the owners are considering opening a coffee shop in the future. So if your a local or just passing by you really need to drop in. Also for all you caravan owners or if your renting a chalet at the Carrick (or anywhere else for that matter) this is where you need to stock up if you want to experience a culinary delight !!!! This will certainly be a regular stop for me.

“New wee Gem”
Reviewed 19 April 2013

Recently visited this new farm shop on the A82 just across from the Carrick golf club. Great to see the farm trying something different. The shop is in a really well restored Farm building and fits in well with the surroundings. We were looking for a coffee and cake not realising that they are only doing coffee to go at present however they do have plans to expand if demand is there. The quick coffee turned in to a mini shopping spree as the shop is filled with a huge selection of home produce, Scottish goods plus a good variety of local beers and spirits. All in all well worth a visit.
