I have just come back from Scotland on holiday with Lochs and Glens. This is one of their hotels. Food was excellent, hotel based over the road from loch long. The staff were very helpful and polite everytime one of the staff passed me they always said hello. I was in a single room with a loch view and on the second floor and it was just right for me..

Room Tip: Room 206 easy to find

Booked our 5-day coach trip with Lochs and Glens and from our first pick up at the start of the holiday to our last drop off at the end we could not fault that Company. At Exeter, we changed to who would be our main driver Ian, and although his attendant was not drop dead gorgeous looking and kilted, he was very attentive. Ian has got a good formula in as well as being an excellent driver, he threw in the occasional bit of knowledge, along with a bit of funny banter, There were adequate stops along both the outward and return journeys, and hot drinks and a toilet were available on the coach. The excursions were very good and we were blessed with good weather generally. The hotel is in a good location and the staff, food, and rooms were in our opinion very good. We were fortunate to make friends with some people who we hope to see again dreckly! The only irritation were the midges around Loch Long, but we did get to see a wild deer up close!

Went with Lochs and Glens - our coach driver Jude was great. Scotland is fabulous and the hotel was very clean, very comfortable beds, no skimping on anything. Excellent choice of food and all meals were very appetising. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff went out of their way to help and were most friendly. Entertainment was 60's/70's sing-a-long music - just right for the age group of most coach travellers. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely time.

Don't bother!
Dim dark room, they don't clean it, just top up your tea and coffee supplies. They make your bed with the quilt up over your head, so you have to do it again before you sleep. Bed squeak's every time you move. Food is bland and male staff ignore you, they will ask any male sat at your table what their preferences are, but not you. Don't bother ringing the bar bell, if the staff are male, they will ignore you if you are a lone female. if you are a women that earns her own wages, I suggest you spend your cash somewhere else.
Truly a throwback to another time.

Room Tip: Oh, and I could hear the mediocre entertainment in my room as well!

loch long hotel, one of a goupe of hotels run by lochs and glens, if you want to see scotland, we went self drive, try one of their hotels we have tried three inversnaid hotel, on the banks of loch lomond, loch awe , not been disapointed by any. location fantastic all on the lochs with fabulous views, drinks your local prices ,good food and clean rooms ,entertainment so bad it is good over next few yrs hoping to try them all. friends have been to them all and raves on them.

Room Tip: i think self drive get the best views as we did in iversnaid, room over looking loch lomond may be not enough loch views for coach trippers, save any bickering they give them to self drive customers.
