“Great choice, but pricey”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

Plus -A great choice of single malts and decent real ales, with fantastic views across the Loch.

Minus - Very expensive. Over £4 a pint.

Thank you for your review. We do sell a selection of ales from £2.95 a pint through to just over £4 a pint. We pride ourselves on the good quality and selection we offer. I do hope the next time you are in the area you will visit us.

Kind Regards

“Traditional Scottish Food”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Nice restaurant in the main Hotel of Arrochar. Good selection of beers.
Service was very friendly and they served fresh, local specialities.
But you pay a little premium for this service, never the less it is to recommend.

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

Dined here on two evenings while staying at the Fascadail Country Guest House (reservations made by Anne at the House). Both dinners were equally good, very much more than just pub food, with good ales and wine, and coffee. Great, very correct, service from the same waiter on both evenings (must be ex-military?), nice atmosphere, lively but unhurried. And very good value. A great place to eat and relax. Advise making a reservation.

“Drinks only-but food looked and smelled delicious”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

After a very long coach trip to the village and enjoying a lovely meal at our hotel we decide to stretch are legs with a 15 minute walk in very wet weather. As a lover of real ale I can say it was worth getting wet outside in order to get wet inside. The very friendly person in the bar stoked up the log fire so we could dry our outer clothing. The beers of local Scottish origin were well served and made the trip here worth while. Whilst we neither stayed here or sampled the food our eyes and nose gave favourable responses. Will definitely return should we visit this area again.
