“Busy little cafe”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

Very popular little cafe. I would love to have tried the all day breakfast but we had already had a fry up at the Little Chef. Lovely setting by Loch Long. Little parking outside but we parked in the Community Centre next door. Officially called the Three Villages cafe now.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

As far as I understand it, this cafe is actually called the "Three Villages cafe". It was the Pit Stop and they have retained that name for the take-away part of the business. The cafe is a community venture and is therefore a pretty simple set up. The menu is basic but sufficient and the food served was of a good quality. The staff here are also very friendly so, all in all, it is well worth a visit.

“Fast Food in an idyllic location”
Reviewed 3 November 2012

In the area on business, Camera Boy was shooting a wedding at the Arrochar Hotel, right next door.
Opted for a quick lunchtime takeaway of soup+bacon/tattie scone roll, cost £3.50.
This was simple food, but It was properly cooked, served hot and fairly priced, not rocket science, but a high proportion of fast food outlets fail to achieve these basic standards.
Add to this the fact that the service was friendly, even to the point that they gave me an extra piece of meat for the Hungry Westie, and the picture is almost complete.
The icing on the cake was the magnificent view over Long Long and to the hills beyond, which can be enjoyed from the car or al fresco from conveniently placed benches across the road.
Just off the A83, Arrochar is a cute wee village and the Pit Stop is an oasis of fast food in an otherwise rural location.
