“What a FANTASTIC HOTEL.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013

This hotel has to be one of the best if not the best hotel in Scotland,it is fantastic. On a Lochs and Glens holiday we arrived to a warm welcome from the general manager Ian ,after entering the front door you can't fail to be impressed by the decor and how spacious the reception/lounge area is. Very helpful staff were on hand to direct us to our room. The rooms are large, well furnished, lovely large comfy bed, good sized bathroom, heating you can control yourself, flat screen t.v,tea/coffee making facilities, what more can you want. The resteraunt is also very spacious and there's a good selection of food on the menu ( changed daily),very efficient staff make sure you have all you need. Nightly entertainment is in the ,yes you guessed it ,spacious entertainment area. If your not into entertainment you can always sit in the bar or take your drinks into lounge area. The views of the loch and mountains through the large windows in the lounge are fantastic, could'nt get enough of them. If that was'nt enough the hotel employs two very helpful "Geordie lasses" on reception and assistant manager. Well done to all the hard working staff and management, thank you for our great holiday.

Room Tip: Well worth requesting a loch view.

The ardgartan hotel is sited on the edge of lock Long iit has beautiful grounds the view from the main reception area is beautiful it looks down the full length of the lock. The food is first class and the staff very friendly. The bedrooms are very large all on suite, there iis various entertainment in the evenings to suit everyones taste. Our driver Gary best ever knew more about Sccotland than the Scots themselves. Great time.

Room Tip: Only soap supplied bring your own toiletries.

I came back a week ago from the New Locks and Glens Ardgartan Hotel, it was pure magic. Every think was a wow, from the moment I went in to the day I had to leave. All the Staff was brilliant, friendly, helpful, they could not do enough for you. Our holiday was a Mistletoe and Mountains tour, it really did feel like Christmas and New year. The Entertainment manager was just brilliant, he kept it going all week, I can't wait till I'm there again.

Room Tip: room 206 the view from all rooms was good, there was no noise what so ever, even from the next room...

Just returned from a Lochs and Glen coach tour. First time with them and can't praise the trip enough. The hotel is Fab-U-lous, so spacious and spotlessly clean. Food good and plentiful. (Offered 2nds and will change things if you ask) Room and bathroom good size . Note, only soap, so take own toiletries. Entertainment is what you expect on a Misletoe and mountains weekend. Andy kept it all going with a swing. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, oh and very cheerful.
Luke, our driver was excellent. Cheerful, knowledgable , and a great driver. Would certainly return. The whole trip is great value. One point to note if you are an independant traveller is they the hotel is quite isolated and you would need to drive everywhere.

Room Tip: Ask for a room(even numbers, I think) of the Loch.

Having never been to Scotland before this was certainly a brilliant start. The hotel is clean, the food brilliant, staff very friendly and helpful, entertainment very good, cannot fault this hotel. The coach driver from Lochs and Glenns ,the company that we went with was brilliant, not happy about being driven by others, I had complete confidence in this driver and was totally relaxed the whole time. I would totally recommend this company and this hotel

Room Tip: 244 has view right down the loch fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another great holiday with Lochs and Glens staying at the new Ardgartan Hotel. The whole trip was great, its so well organised. Our driver this time was Gary and he was brilliant his knowledge of the area and history was great. We enjoyed the cable car up Aonach Mor at Fort William and the scenery was fantastic. The hotel as expected being just a year old was lovely, comfortable and inviting and the meals were very good with a wide range of choice. I asked the reception if they could send a little book on Achray Hotel (our previous visit) which normally cost £1.50 and I offered to pay. It arrived a few days after getting home with no request for payment. Fab :)

Room Tip: Facing Loch Long
