Recently returned from a 3 days break, excellent food and service throughout our stay. Top marks to the chef, good variety and well cooked, vegetables cooked to perfection. Always greeted with a smile from all staff.

Room Tip: Loch view - still some traffic noise but view makes up for it

my wife and i recently spent two nights at the Arrochar hotel in Argyll Scotland.we were very pleasantly surprised. the room was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner on both nights, and although the food was standard fayre, It was well cooked and well presented. Breakfast the following morning was just as good. all in all a decent place to stay, and somewhere that we will definitely stay at again

Room Tip: a view of loch long if possible

What a great hotel in a beautiful setting on the Loch. We enjoyed our stay very much. The reception staff were friendly & very helpful. The dining room was superb. The staff in the dining room were very professional and articulate. The meals were first class (we can definately recommend the beef - just cooked to perfection). The choice of meals and desserts very good.
The room was modern & very clean with a view of the Loch. Would have liked a mattress protector on the bed. Also the cleaner had alot of bottles etc from cleaning at the top of the main stairwell which is abit of an eyesore when just arriving, could it be put at the back stairs?

A 5pm deal to finish our holiday, good points, lovely food included in deal, size of room huge, lovely loch view. Downside, entertainment in the downstairs area, great for tourists but after a long day travelling not for us. Went to bed but entertainment heard clearly in our room. The gentleman upstairs snoring all night, sound proofing might be a good investment. And then the bed, the most uncomfortable nights sleep, lumpy mattress. Bespoke, you can offer better than this. I know because I have experienced much much better from yourselves. Disappointing.

I stayed at this hotel in the first week in october. This Is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at and all the staff do a fantastic job. The food in the restaurant is really nice food as well as the the bar meal. The management of this hotel have done a really good job with it since the last time I stayed which was 2 years ago. Staying at this hotel is worth every penny and the prices are really good.

We stayed 4 nights here and found the price of £70 per night too much for what we got. The food was terrible - the bar menu dinner we had was almost inedible (and expensive) and we found pork products at breakfast to be as bad. Our breakfast order diminished quickly to not much more than porridge and even this was poor. The staff are friendly but not good at their jobs - every day housekeeping forgot something in our room - garbage, no milk for tea etc. Waiters bring food without cutlery.
in the room we were in wifi was intermittent (at the far end of a corridor) and the room felt a bit cold and damp (so we used the heater). Would not recommend it at this price.

Room Tip: We had room 101.

We booked this hotel as somewhere we could rest up after a long drive up from Wiltshire before driving over to Aberdeenshire.....It was supposed to be a cosy romantic double room overlooking a loch. Instead we were given a twin room in something that was alleged to have been recently refurbished. The alleged price for these rooms was £220 per night incl breakfast.....we paid £80 and that was TOO much. I did ask to change rooms as we had planned a romantic break but there were no rooms available allegedly. The windows would open but they would slip down again....this was probably why there was condensation in the room and a cracked pane in the single glazed unit. We thought we would treat ourselves to a meal in the restaurant......£65 for a 2 course meal and wine was not a bad price for 2 people but when you saw the food we ate you would have cried. The service of the waiting staff was poor if not laughable! Whatever you do, don't stay here......
