Myself and two daughters stayed for 1 night in the family room. It was beautifully decorated and very large. Fantastic value for money as I would have had to book two rooms elsewhere. Lovely tea next door in Ben Arthur's bothy. Stunning view from our bedroom window and from the outside decking area. Lovely cooked breakfast. Would definately recommend.

Stayed: May 2013, travelled with family

My husband and 2 little ones (3 and 4) decided to stay at the Lochside Guest House as it was recommended by a friend that was getting married and also that lives in Arrochar. We booked the family room for 2 nights well in advanced which was well easily done online.
When we got there we were welcome by a lovely smile. The room was very tastefully decorated, spotless and the view into the Loch was out of this world.
Love the fact that you can choose your breakfast the night before so no ordering with 2 little ones shouting that they are hungry. Diane had the table ready for us exactly at 8 o´clock. The food was extraordinary but more was the staff there.
We felt welcome from the moment we got there until we left. We will definitely drive the 7 hour journey to stay here again

Room Tip: Do take a room with Loch views ... worth every penny. If you drive make sure you put the correct post code in the GPS (G83 7AA)

We enjoyed a lovely welcome at this guesthouse. Our dog friendly room was newly decorated, clean and had superb views over Loch Long. The breakfasts were tasty and substantial in the modern dining room. After long days out we decided to eat in Ben Arthur's Bothy next door. The food was good and reasonably priced, but more important for us, were the huge windows giving wonderful views across the Loch.
