We stayed at the Burnbrae B&B in July. I think the previous B&B we stayed in may have spoilt our experience and this could just not compare. We found Janice a little abrupt we were greeted by pink slippers which may be a little to 'comfortable' when greeting guests. I was a little dissappointed that single occupancy was not available here. The rooms were clean but very old fashioned for our taste. We ate at the Village Inn next door which had good and reasonably price food, which was just as well as you don't have many other options. The breakfast was good but thought it was a little rude when we were asked how we would be settling the bill before we have even started eating our breakfast.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us . I hope you find a B & B that meets your expectations. (and that the landlady doesn't wear slippers in her own home!)

Very beautiful B & B. Views overlooking the loch. Right beside the best restaurant in town. Huge breakfast. Friendly host. No need to look any farther.

The Burnbrae is run by a lady called Janice. She is warm and welcoming to you. The room we stayed in was warm and cosy, even had wi-fi which was a bonus. We stayed at Arrocher for 2 nights, only problem no mobile signal another plus. Next door is the village Inn very good food at a reasonable price and a good selection of real ale. The view from the front door is of Loch Fynne.

I don't think my Sister and I could thank Janice nearly enough, she was a wonderful and welcoming host. It felt like home from home. Lovely spacious room, with all the lovely quirky finishings such as dvds, cds, sweeties, sherry, yummy biscuits, haridryer, brolly, hot water bottle and much much more! We had perfectly cooked boiled eggs and Janice's home-made jam was scrummy!

As a hostess, she went above and beyond the call of duty and we cannot wait to come back to the lovely, idilic village to relax very soon! Watch out Janice, we'll be back ;)

There were some lovely touches and Janice was really nice and helpful. The room was brilliantly thought out and was spacious and very clean. It had great views, especially when tucking into a big Scottish breakfast looking out over Loch Long. I'd recommend for a great stay in lovely village next to a really good pub (but no problem with noise) and in walking distance of Loch Lomond!

Burnbrae lived up to our expectations and more. We knew of Janice and her husband's search for a B&B business a few years ago as we'd seen them on BBC "Escape to the Country". We received a warm welcome and were shown to our lovely room complete with king-size bed, sofa, every comfort, even sherry ! The gastropub - The Village Inn - is just next door for an evening meal, service and food excellent. We knew beforehand that we couldn't stay for breakfast due to having to catch a very early ferry ,Janice did us a packed breakfast to take with us,of bacon sarnies and all manner of extra bits to keep us satisfied till lunchtime. We shall return!
