We stayed here for four nights during The Commonwealth Games...our first visit to Scotland. Frank and Lorraine were very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the hills, although obscured by the persistent rain! Due to our very early start on two mornings we took advantage of a breakfast tray which was very welcome. On the two days that we did have breakfast we certainly weren't disappointed, the porridge and freshly cooked kippers were delicious. A short walk from Alexandria Station made this an ideal base for visiting Glasgow and we hope to return to explore the area further, hopefully when the sun is shining a bit more!
Our thanks to Frank and Lorraine.

Room Tip: Our twin room on the ground floor was very comfortable.

Frank and Lorraine were amazing! Our room was perfect for us and our 21 month old child. We appreciated the laid back feel to the property and the ability to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was cooked to order and the choices were perfect. We would definitely stay again when we next come to visit the Loc Loman area. Thank you for being so hospitable.

We stayed here for just one night on our way up to the highlands in July. We were made very welcome from Frank on our arrival. The room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and we were given a choice of what we wanted. We also took advantage of the facility of pack lunch for our onward journey which was freshly prepared and ready for us in the morning. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and would recommend to friends if they were looking in the area. Thank you Frank and Lorraine.

We stayed here for one night with out two chldren aged 12 & 14 in early July. The room had enough space for the four of us with a double bed and two singles. Frank and Lorraine were friendly and provided a big breakfast in the morning. We were very happy with their flexibility with us swapping and changing a couple of breakfast items. They recommended the Stables restaurant for a good feed which it was.

Dog-friendly, Comfortable Stay

Stayed here for 2 nights accompanied by our Shih-Tsu dog, Remy.

The homely room was spacious, clean & comfortable & furnished with a double & a single bed. A sheet was supplied for Remy but we had brought our own fleeces.
There are tea making facilities, ample storage space & a fan in the room.

We received a warm welcome from Frank & Lorraine. Frank is very knowledgeable about the area & gave us lots of info & tips to visiting the local area.
He also directed us to the Stables Restaurant, a 20 min walk away, which is dog friendly.

First class tasty traditional breakfast with ample portions, cooked by Lorraine. The porridge is recommended. Remy was given treats as well.
