“Always a wonderful place to stay!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

Our second trip in 4 years to the UK and made sure to return to Ewich house. Always great hospitality and fun conversations. We also got the chance to meet all the new animals, including Dom the Shetland pony who took a liking to my husband - used his back as a butt scratcher!
Wish we were able to come and see Ian, Deb and the whole menagerie more often. Thanks again for another excellent stay!

I stayed two nights, May 8th and 9th 2014, a late booking for hill-walking.
Ian and Deb have created a very tasteful and comfortable experience, far better than the standard found in the average hotels in the area. Ian did the "front of house" bit, and is an excellent host.
I had the single room which was bright and airy, decent shower and all fittings to a high standard, pretty much what you'd be very comfortable with at home. Fantastic value in my opinion.
Breakfast was cooked to order with a wide variety of choices, both mornings were excellent.
Being 2 miles outside Crianlarich, evening meal necessitated driving out, but this was no problem at all (I can recommend the Real Food Cafe at Tyndrum), and the quiet location was reward enough for this, with views of surrounding Munro's. I will definitely be looking to return soon.
PS the second day was my birthday, and having spotted a couple of cards my family had given me, Deb produced a fine little Victoria sponge cake for me as a surprise, the lightest sponge I've ever had, and a lovely touch, thank you so much!

Ian was really great and helpful. We loved walking around the farm. The house is fantastic and the room was in excellent shape. Everything down to the soft warm blankets on the bed, wifi in the room, i-pod charger. Good quality food (breakfast and lunch).

After a long wet day on the west highland way we were greeted by Ian and settled in to our room. I enjoyed a hot bath with a range of bubble baths, lotions and creams then snuggled up in the huge bed(eygptian cotton sheets) with a beer and DVD( from the huge choice in the lounge). Breakfast was the best of our trip including porridge and a full vegetarian breakfast for me and the meat version for my husband, the extra touches like the vine tomatoes and freshly laid eggs really make a difference to the taste. Ewich house is a top rate B&B and you can tell that the owners really care about your comfort, We hope to return to Ewich house in the future and would highly recommend it. We rated it number one all round out of the six B&Bs we stayed in on our trip.

Ewich House is everything you could want in a 5 star B&B. Ian & Deb have a lovely home and do everything they can to give their guests a stay to remember. A warm, friendly welcome, a beautiful clean comfortable room and a superb breakfast - their eggs are straight from the hens that roam about (along with alpaca, Shetland ponies and others !) One of the very best B&B's my wife and I have stayed in.

The house is spotless and very tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfy with feather duvet and pillows. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming I didn't want to leave :-) Our room had an en-suite shower but we were offered use of a bath in a separate room which was very welcome (we usually travel by motorbike so I will definitely be noting Ewich House down for future tours as not only do they offer the bath but drying facilities for gear as well) Breakfast was delicious and the service was second to none. I would recommend staying here without hesitation, Ian was also very helpful in letting us know where did food in the area and the type of food they offered. :-)
Excellent WiFi
Use of a lovely guest room with Sky TV
Honesty bar provided in reception :-)

Room Tip: we had room 3 it was very roomy

We travelled to Scotland with relatives who were visiting from Australia. I looked at the guest houses with the highest ratings on TripAdvisor and chose Ewich House based on the ratings and comments.
We received a very warm welcome from Ian upon arrival and both Ian and Deb were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were all very impressed by the cleanliness and décor of the rooms and found the beds very comfortable. There is also a very nice guest lounge with a huge selection of DVDs to watch. The breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice of cereals and cooked options.
The guest house is easy to find and is set in lovely surroundings. Ian has a good knowledge of the area and made a number of very helpful suggestions of places to visit.
We thought that the high TripAdvisor ratings were definitely justified and we would have no hesitation in booking to stay there next time we visit the area.
