“Warm, welcoming & good food !”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

Visited The Oak Tree Inn last saturday on a day trip to Balmaha. The Inn is truly welcoming, cozy, serves great food and is located very centrally (well, there is only 1 place to eat around). With Xmas approaching soon, the place has been decorated very well and was a great respite from the freezing temps outside. Visitors should definitely drop in for a grub on their trip to Balmaha.
Really enjoyed the fish&chips !

“Well Fed :-)”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Home cooked food and great service. We ate here both nights of our stay, the meals were tasty and staff friendly and efficient. In the mornings, breakfasts were good and very filling, staff were buzzing about making sure all our needs were met.
We were made to feel very welcome and will be going back for more.

Very nice food and guest house was amazing very much worth a visit to loch lomond.
The mars bar cheesecake is out of this world, if you get the fish and chips it may be worth sharing.

“A warm welcome for soggy canoeists.”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

For the third year in a row we had lunch at the Oaktree Inn during our annual end of season canoe camping trip to Loch Lomond. Every time we've been made welcome and enjoyed some excellent food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is always busy which speaks for itself really. A great place to stop for lunch.

“Excellent as usual”
Reviewed 13 November 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for 5 nights and ate in the bar every night, the food and the staff are fantastic and the breakfasts are pretty good too. Such a nice area and a good base to see the sights. We will be back, again and again.
