Everything about the Hawthorns is superb. We were given a lovely, warm welcome by Jane and both she and her husband are lovely hosts. My room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Good drying facilities which unfortunately I needed to make use of after a wet afternoon on the West Highland Way. Breakfast was really good too so al-in-all everything you could ask for in a top quality B&B. And so near the Clachan & Drymen Inns for our evening meal.

Room Tip: One room has a bath - great after a day on the WHW !

This is a perfect place to stay! We received a warm welcome from the owners on our arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was a lovely breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect with some friendly pubs and restaurants across the road. Thank you.

Stayed 1 night Lovely b&b, Jane was very welcoming and helpful. Couldn't fault anything at all... And what an amazing breakfast we had too! Shame it wasn't a longer stay. Will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Out room was large, clean and all have en suite. Everything you would need. Good facilities to drop off bags or walking gear. Breakfast was excellent, quality bacon and Lorne sausage with beans in separate dish which I liked, plus Stornoway black pudding. Great location in a lovely village, great spot for walkers.

Lovely house, spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable, far more room than we expected, lounge with loads of useful maps, books and info, very welcoming owners, friendly and helpful and most importantly, a first class breakfast. Everything you could want, only sorry we were staying one night. We'd definitely recommend it.

Our family only stayed for one night, but it was perfect for smaller children and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Great room for a family, amazing breakfast and well placed to visit a number of places. Would definitely stay again and would happily recommend to families or couples. Very welcoming and how a B&B should be!

We loved having your family to stay on your tour of Scotland. As parents ourselves we know it can be strange for children to stay away from home. A few toys and kids DVD'S help them feel at home, and if there happy your happy!! Please come again and stay longer next time. Many thanks Chris and Jane

Just had a brief overnight trip, but great place to stay. Lovely big rooms, and great service. Owner was very friendly, and cooked a good breakfast!
The location is right in the middle of Drymen, so handy for everything, yet still has plenty of parking.
