“Lovely small cafe”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

Great place to stop on route round the peninsula. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food and coffee always of very good quality.

We frequently drop in when out cycling and enjoy the break and the views over the estuary.

“Amazing quality & value”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

We tried this place on the recommendations of others (not online)and were so glad we did as the food was wonderful. The menu was as good, if not better, than other more expensive restaurants and we were amazed at how they managed to charge so reasonably for the great food. I had the venison casserole and my husband had the (huge) sea bream followed by lemon meringue pie and cheese board. We could not find fault with anything and the service from all staff was excellent.
We will certainly return and I would definitely recommend it if your in the area.

“Best macaroni cheese ever!”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

A wonderful pre-ferry lunch in Kilgreggan. Home made everything! Tomato soup - Macaroni Cheese (the best ever) - Lemon Meringue Pie. All delicious. What a pleasant surprise to have such good home cooking before my trip home to London. There seemed good choice of wine on the menu , the coffee smelled great and the hot chocolate looked delicious. All this with a pretty good view thrown in despite the drizzle! I'm looking forward to my next visit ferry or not!
