First class welcome and stay. Would thoroughly reccommend. Catriona and Tobi are great hosts whose enthusiasm for thier B&B and guests is reflected in the service given. Thank you to you both once again for a wonderful stay.

We stayed in Applecross for a 7 night holiday but decided to book No 20 for our ruby wedding anniversay where we met up with freinds, who also stayed at No 20. We could not have wished for anything better Cat and Tobby were absolutely brilliant helping with our celebrations and very genuine lovely people. The rooms are huge and amazing (we had the Heron Room) and the food at breakfast was cooked to perfection did not feel at all like a b&b more of a home from home nothing at all was too much trouble from booking taxis to making reservations for evening meals and plenty of information about surrounding area. We did the Three Lochs Walk from Helensbrough to Balloch and then caught the train back. On arrival we were all very wet and muddy but no problem for Cat as she even took our boots to dry them off while we had a lovely soak, arrived as guests but feel like we left freinds behind as we sadly checked out, hope to visit your lovely home again very soon Cat, Tobby and family (looks like we will be putting 60 candles on the anniversary cake on Monday for the old mans birthday :-)

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely but we had the large Heron Room as this came with private bath and shower and a...

Stayed at No 20 during the Commonwealth Games...our hosts were welcoming and very helpful and the rooms beautiful with large comfy beds and great views. Would definitely stay here again. Great base for discovering Glasgow. Just a shame that there was no sunshine! Thank you very much Catriona, Tobby and family.

We visited Cat and Tobi (owners) during our 10 days round trip in Scottland. Both are very friendly, funny and the room was amazing. The breakfast is delicious as well (check their web page and you will find pictures).
This B&B is only a couple minutes of walk from the city center of Helensburgh and with the train (5 minutes walk) you can reach Glasgow in 40 minutes. This B&B was the best B&B we had in Scottland (maybe in Great Britain) and I recommend to stay there if you like to visit the area around. There will be no better alternative. From Cat and Tobi you can learn a lot about Scottland, the language (if you understand) and about life. We would love to visit their again!

Last words to describe everything: This B&B is pure dead brilliant!

Great! Great! Great!

Great food - excellent choice at breakfast. Stayed 7 nights and still hadn't tried everything.
Great service - attention to detail was first-class
Great hospitality - Cat and Tobby (and Thistle too) were wonderful hosts.

Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at No 20 on 4&5 Aug because it was highly recommend and we also wanted to do the world famous Malaig train trip. The B&B is a few minutes drive from Hellensburg Upper rail station and there is plenty of on road free parking. No 20 is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at, the quality of service, food, overall hospitality and accomodation was excellent. A big thank you to Catriona and Tobby for making our stay in Hellensburg a memorable one.

Room Tip: They are all good, some have a sea view.

I stayed at No.20 for 3 nights with family during the Commonwealth Games and need to to find a reason to visit the area again soon so that I can stay again! The B&B is on a lovely street with views of the river from most of the rooms. Conveniently located a 5min walk from Craigendoran train station with regular trains into Glasgow. Cat and Tobby were wonderful hosts, we were greeted into their home with fresh scones and tea which was perfect after a long drive. There is a huge variety on the breakfast menu and between us I think we tried nearly everything - all freshly cooked and presented beautifully. Rooms are spacious and well decorated with very comfy beds. There is a lounge that is their purely for the use of guests so you have somewhere cosy to sit and relax without having to sit on your bed as is often the way in B&Bs. Not sure how many more wonderful things I can say apart from if you are in the area you should stay here! No question!
