Humbles has always had the best coffee in Helensburgh. There is some stiff competition here, but in my opinion they have never lost their crown.

Expensive and serving hot food and drinks.....cold.
This place looks nice on the inside and out, even though it's in need of a lick of paint.Coffee is served cold in a frozen environment where it appears that the heating has failed, so why keep the ceiling fans on?Ridiculous! The young staff are good but the old staff/owner are rude! Never again!

Humbles is so close to being a fantastic place, but it's not quite there.

The prices are a little steep and we were waiting a little too long for everything we ordered.

Once the food did arrive, two dishes out of the three were terribly over salted, one was inedible and was swapped fairly quickly for another dish.

The positive points are that the menu and specials are clearly freshly made and it's lovely to have an Italian offering in a cafe environment, but a little more attention to detail and this place would be great.

Popped in for coffee and cake.Although very busy for a Tuesday afternoon we placed our order and opted to sit outside in the sunshine. We were served quickly. We also returned on the Saturday for two coffees and received two complimentary mince pies with cream a nice touch. We opted to sit outside and it was noticed by a male member of staff that our table was on a uneven surface which he rectified, again a nice touch.

I liked this. Had lunch before heading up to see Hill House. Had Gnocchi and a bottle of Nastro Azuro. It felt very Italian even though the owner wasn't. Not plush but had a bit of style. Displayed food was limited but staff attentive (table service) and served promptly.
