We spent four nights at the Inversnaid hotel on the edge of the beautiful Loch Lomond as part of a coach trip package with Lochs and Glens. Considering it is a three star hotel, it was amazing. Food copious and excellent. Staff friendly and the attention to detail made a difference. Lochs and glens deserve praise for an excellently run holiday. We enjoyed every minute and it was excellent value for money. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent stay , I was pusuaded to go with mam & dad on a coach tour ( the wrinkly club) as she called it.
Gotta admit I thought OMG but I really enjoyed it we really liked the excursions , boats, Falkirk wheel etc. & the food was lovely ( 1st time I had haggis it was gorgeous ) the coach driver GARY was also great so helpful , ( he needs better jokes tho) ha
Eh, the entertainment wasn't really my thing but I suppose most people are much older so , anyway I was quite happy in the BAR !!!
Overall 10/10

I didn't stay here but stopped on their grounds to eat my lunch while walking WHW. It was awash with people doing coach/bus tours. The hotel itself is quite large and a sort of old-fashioned proper style. I was glad I wasn't staying there but the people who were seemed very happy. They have large dining room but it was full of British coach folk.

Cannot comment on the Hotel as we did not stay there. After cruising on Loch Lomond our coach party called at the Inversnaid for lunch. We had wonderful hot thick soup and sandwiches followed by pots of tea all for a very amazing price. Afterwards we explored the waterfall which flows by the side of the Hotel into the Loch. We would not hesitate to come here if Lochs & Glens are offering the type of break we are looking for.

Hubbie and I have just returned from a 5 day break with loch and glens coach tours. The Inversnaid is in a beautiful location ,and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was our first coach tour so have nothing to compare it with, but we couldnt understand how they can charge so little for the week. We loved the stop at Gretna Green on the way up, but would have liked ore time at the various places, especially Stirling castle which looked marvellous. The food was very basic and not really to our taste , also we struggled to be in the dinning room at specific times as we usually go all inclusive. We would have liked a day to allow some walking around the hotel as it was in a perfect spot ,and so peaceful. We had 3 coach drivers , 2 of which were fun and informative , but the third one who just drove the last bit to Bristol ,didnt even introduce himself over the tannoy which we thought was rude. The entertainment was cheesy to say the least ,but it was so bad it was almost good!. We would deffo do another tour with L and G . Special thanks to Nicole on reception who sorted a beautiful room for us and a Birthday cake for my Husband.

Room Tip: The views from the loch side are awesome , we were in room 113.

This really is isolated hotel, but great if that's what you want. A lot of problems with the room, broken items, stained items but nothing too bad. Staff very good and jolly, just needs a bit of attention to detail.

Drove 10 miles from Aberfoyle on a single track road to try this hotel for lunch. It is set high over Loch Lomond and the views are stunning. Pity the same couldn't be said for the hotel. The front door is dying out for a coat of paint. As the first impression of the hotel, it's awful. Once inside the place it's full of sad faced coach passengers waiting for their buses The bar/restaurant had no atmosphere and coffee is served from flasks ! The menu was woeful , totally uninteresting. Left the place without ordering. The owners/management must be coining it in from the coach tour companies and don't need to try and attract custom....it's such a pity as the location is amazing but definitely not for a pop in lunch ..
