We know the family that run this hotel and its very popular at the weekends, especially as the caravan site is just across the road from it! We always make a point of going in several times during our visits to Killin, you always get a lovely warm welcome and the entertainment is always top notch. Most of the bands have you up dancing or at least singing along! My husband and I have had many brilliant nights in here especially when The Minogues, Davy Tait or Ted Christopher are playing, Ab Fab!!

Food was not great I had burger which was processed and would have liked a homeade steakburger not difficult .. Chips were not home chips but frozen .. really disappointed with the quality . The tables could do with a good clean - good enough Bar at the weekends but not great for food ....

Came to this pub two evenings running and had a great time on each occasion. The beer was good with a selection of hand pumped ales. We ate on one night and found the food to be equally good. The pub had live music on both nights which was very entertaining and gave the pub at terrific atmosphere

Had dinner a couple of nights ago in the bar
if you like frozen chips (and not good ones either) and frozen peas with everything unless you have chilli then you'll be okay. The food was tasteless and more like boil in the bag ready made meals from the supermarket and they have the cheek to charge ridiculous prices.
The paying public deserve better don't you think

We returned to the Coach House Lounge Bar as mentioned in a previous review (Sept 13), once again we found the place welcoming and enjoyed our meal. However I am sorry to say that overall our meal was not quite as good as last time. The portions were smaller and the quality was not quite as good, which is a pity as we could not find fault on our last visit. The local ales are still well kept and enjoyable. The service was quick and efficient, what was served was hot and wholesome. However, on ordering a sweet, chocolate pudding and sticky toffee pudding we asked for custard but were informed that it only came with ice cream. We were a little disappointed, but that being said we would visit again if in the area, if only to see if this was just a one off.
