My son and I stayed at Blinkbonnie last week. Dave and Sandra are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in the most lovely location with wildlife literally on the doorstep. As a new venture, Blinkbonnie is very well equipped and comfortable with gorgeous views from front and back and wonderful beds. Centrally located for easy access to all areas, we did walks from the cottage, drove up Ben Lawers and walked the mountain, and did a tour of 5 other lochs and the west coast. Something for everyone.

“A well presented cottage in a lovely position with great views”
Reviewed 25 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A newly renovated cottage with all you need for a very comfortable stay in this lovely peaceful area of Scotland. Well kept little garden and a great spot for watching the passing wildlife from and enjoying a barbeque. Good walks from the cottage with plenty of more challenging hikes within the surrounding area. Two minutes drive from Killin, with some good restaurants, pubs, cafe and a helpful outdoor centre. Owners were very helpful and easily contactable when we needed advice. Would definitely stay again.

“I loved this cottage!”
Reviewed 18 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

David and Sandie were very helpful with booking and finding the cottage.
When we arrived they had provided essentials like milk and tea etc, a very welcome touch.
The cottage was beautiful, clean, neat and very well decorated throughout with perfect, tasteful furnishings.
With the log burner for colder nights it could be very cosy in the colder months but we were lucky enough not to have to use it. The heaters quickly warmed bedrooms when required. The views from the front were lovely and to the rear, we had the small lochan with its ducks.
Bird feeders, which had been filled, were a constant cause of delight and entertainment as they were visited by so many different birds from, jays and woodpeckers to chaffinches etc - sorry I don't know the names!
Binoculars were provided and helped us find the first deer, but after that we saw them every day without their help; once we even saw a group of four. We saw some large birds of prey too and of course the rabbits!
The beautiful village of Killin was very close by car and has the delight of the amazing Falls of Dochart and several places to eat.
Overall this place was wonderful and we felt sad to leave it.

“A wee gem of a place!!”

What a stunning place, arrived very late on the 4th, beds made including crisp white linen, towels ready. Children (7 month & 5 yr) had a room to themselves and slept all night.... We had a huge very comfortable bed too but instead chose to sit in front of the log fire burner with a glass of red in hand after our first journey up to Scotland.

Breezed through the very informative book supplied by the owners with details of the cottage, wildlife and surrounding areas.

We happened to be at the cottage at the time of the Killin Highland Games which was brilliant too.

It was our first visit and will definitely not be our last!! Stunning scenery surrounds this wonderful cottage.... Can't wait to see it in the Autumn/winter!!

Fabulous Cottage, fabulous break in a fabulous area!!
What more could u ask for ??????
Thank you to the owners Dave and Sandy Lloyd

We had a great few days here. The house is even better than on the website. Immaculately clean with very good quality fittings and decor. Good for wildlife and birdwatching just as advertised. Loved it - will be back!
