“Lovely stopover”

After a 9 hour journey we received a warm welcome from Jennie.
The rooms were large and clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Excellent choice at breakfast time - as little or as much as you want. I can recommend the porridge!
We were only there for one night but this is where we will choose to stay if we are in the area again.
Thank you Jennie.

My Wife and I have just spent 2 great nights at The Old Bank B&B. What a lovely reception we were given by Jennie upon our arrival. We were shown toa lovely room at the back with views out to the Mountains and the Village of Killin. We enjoyed a hearty Brakfast which set us up for our day at the Highland Games on Breadalbane park, another delight and the reason for our stay.
Easy tosee why Jennie and The Old Bank are a 2014 trip advisor winner.

We stayed 2 nights at the Old Bank B & B and absolutely loved it. We had a beautiful room with amazing views of the nearby hills. Jennie went out of her way to cater for our needs and provided a delicious and healthy breakfast. She also (without our knowing) dried our shoes and clothes for us when we got wet after our walk up Ben Lawers. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: If you like amazing views of the surrounding hills choose the room towards the rear as we did.

We loved the Old Bank Killin and I highly recommend it. The property has been beautifully and lovingly restored to a very high standard. Everywhere is immaculate and I could not fault anything.Jennie is a lovely hostess, very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with a super comfy bed and fantastic breakfasts. There is a lovely large room for guests to use with a luxurious suite and television. We met some very interesting people at breakfast each day. This was my ideal B and B as I felt as if I was staying in a friends home rather than in a strangers. I really hope that we get the opportunity to stay here again. Killin is a pretty place and we only wished we could have spent more time there. I completely agree with all the reviews written about the Old Bank and you only need to read the guest book to see all the lovely comments which are richly deserved.

This was our 2nd visit to killin and our second stay in The Old Bank. Killin and the area around it are great places to visit and you'll be very welcome at The Old Bank. Rooms are quite large and v clean, with tea, coffee and quality biscuits provided in the rooms. Breakfasts are hearty - a selection of compotes/stewed fruits, three types of breakfast cereal including muesli, two or three types of bread (for you to toast yourself), gallons of tea and coffee and Jennie's locally famous cooked breakfast, which you can design yourself - a choice of sausage, bacon, potato pancake, eggs (boiled fried or scrambled) beans, tomato, black pudding, haggis. All the ingredients appear to be high quality and locally sourced - and very tasty. We've now stayed in two of the five rooms and both have enjoyed fabulous views. I believe all the rooms have ensuites and they are very clean. Rooms have bedside tables, desks/dressing tables, wardrobes, tea and coffee making facilities, televisions. Bathrooms have a hand towel and bath towel per person and hand soap and shower gel was provided. There is adequate car parking space for five cars, but parking in Killin is no great problem anyway. There are several pubs/restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the bakery opposite the B&B presently does pizza nights each Friday. Loch Tay is about a ten minute walk and the Falls of Dochart about two minutes. In all, a lovely place to stay and you can sense that Jennie really cares about providing value for money. The guest book has many entries from returning couples and I found that Jennie was known as a good hostess in the village too.
