We stayed at this hotel between 1st and 4th April (after arriving at our intended hotel in St Fillans and finding it closed!) and can only describe it as lovely. We are so glad we ended up here. The setting is marvellous - the owners Amanda and Bob are very friendly and the staff, especially Barry, Danielle, Ellie and Alana were all extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very nice and lots to choose from - the evening dinner menu was a la carte and to a very high standard - we had intended eating other places but food was so good we stuck with the Hotel - many compliments to the chefs. The room we had was very nice and very clean. Killin is a great base for loads of places to go and the Falls of Dochart are beautiful. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Sample the food - its delicious!

I would note in particular the food at this hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were very good.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel last year and enjoyed it so much we treated our friends to an overnight stay with dinner on 19th March. Once again we had a most enjoyable stay and our friends loved it which was very important to us. There were two dogs with us and they were accommodated without any fuss. Dinner and breakfast were both very good and the staff were very helpful. Only thing wrong was the rooms were very cold on our arrival and took quite a while to heat up and when we came up to bed at night the room was cold again. Apart from that we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the Bridge of Lochay Hotel for one evening as a weekend getaway from the city. I wish we had stayed longer! The hotel has an instant warmth from the moment you cross the front door. The staff were exceptional, Bob and Amanda (the owners), took time to speak to us and were very welcoming. The staff we had for our evening meal were very friendly and attentive-nice to see service with a smile! the food was fantastic- I could have ordered 3 more courses! breakfast was delicious and a good selection. I will certainly return to this hotel in the summer to enjoy more of the excellent hospitality provided and make more of the beautiful surroundings this hotel is set in. A perfect place to visit when wanting to escape the city-cannot fault it!

Stayed here over Hogmanay for a few nights and really enjoyed ourselves.

We had what looked to be a recently refurbished room which was big and clean.

The staff were great, the owners Bob and Amanda were really helpful and their organising for the Hogmanay celebrations made it a stress free trip away. Special mentions have to go to the girls who worked on the bar and restaurant who were very friendly and made the effort to see taht were were alright, even to the point that when we saw one of them outside the hotel when she wasn't working she still came over to ask if we were having a good time.

We ate in the hotel every night when we were there and it was really good, the chef obviously cares about his food and it's definetly a couple of notches above standard hotel food. The Steak Pie on the 1st was particularly welcome!

Will definetly be back here, maybe after a day in the hills when looking for somewhere to stay that does good food and drink and has big log fires.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Bridge of Lochay Hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the lounge was extremely welcoming with a real log fire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (especially the lamb shank, chunky chips and home made bread) and breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was busy and popular with locals, so book a table in advance. I strongly recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a relaxing break in an area of great natural beauty.
